Tepper is a grown man with his own football team and he doesn't have the "brass" balls to talk to anyone, you can't make this up.

He does not care. The NFL wanted JR gone and Tepper in so he could tow the company line. We are supposed to be bottom dwellers in the league.

They warned us the first time with Delhomme and made sure the Patriots would beat us by knowing all our plays. Changing the game plan at halftime almost foiled their plans but not quite.

Then we pulled this poo we did with Cam going 15-1 and forcing them to step in to make sure Forehead went out with a ring.

That was enough for the NFL. We need to be irrelevant for at least 20 years before we get any serious consideration.

Why the fug should he talk to anyone about this? This is his team, his money, and he owns the whole thing. Why the fug should he have to explain himself to anyone about his decisions.

His attitude is probably if you don't like what's happening, then get off the train. He didn't become a billionaire by explaining anything to anybody.

If you think for a second that he actually gives a sh$t what the fans think or say, that's a dillusion. He will run the show his way and spend his $$ how he chooses. He knows that the PSL holders that count  are the corporate players and they will stay on board for clients and business reasons.

If mommy/daddy and little Johnny want to give up their licenses, then so be it.

Scared?  Nah.

Worried about it?  Nah.

Ego taking a bit of a beating?  Nah.

He's convinced he's doing this correctly.

He doesn't understand how bad of an owner he is...yet.

That's the problem with him and Rhule. They don't know the job well enough to know that they suck at it...so far. And even if they could see it, I doubt they, at least Rhule, would admit it.

How the fug is the man known for having brass balls in his office this petrified to talk to anyone about his fug up? At least give us a whiff of what you're smoking, maybe you just say over and over you only think its fair to a coach to give them three years and point to Cincinnati and how it took them three years but say something. How you this rich and powerful yet to afraid to talk football just because things didn't go your way for a season?

Zac Taylor won 6 games his first two seasons with Cincinnati. Now they are in the Super Bowl.

Tepper doesn't owe you anything bro.

    • This is factually incorrect. He was a two time Pro Bowler with the Rams and in fact statistically he was better with the Rams in his best season there than he has been with the Lions(could change with this season). Some of his per game stats have creeped into being marginally better with the Lions but there have not been dramatic differences in his play, actually. The biggest reason that McVay and he ended up splitting was McVay didn't think he could win a title with Goff. TBH.....so far he was 100% correct. Stafford almost immediately won them a SB and Goff in a historic run was about 70% of the reason the Lions faltered in the NFC championship game. He missed critical throws all over the first half and throughout the second half that he normally wouldn't. He choked. So, until Goff actually does win a SB...McVay has been right.
    • they have the best defense they've had in a long time...probably the best in the reid/mahommes era.  but i think they are probably the most beatable they've been in a while as well. record doesn't exactly bear that out, but they just don't look as strong on offense as they usually do. lots of reasons for that, like trying to build chemistry with newer receivers, but right now they just aren't as frightening as they typically are. i mean they'll probably win tomorrow, but i don't see them as the strongest team in the AFC right now.
    • He will likely remain unsigned the remainder of this season(barring someone being in a pure QB panic AND making poor decisions) largely due to the cost. I do think he will get multiple offers to be a backup QB and perhaps a couple to potentially start this offseason.  I will continue to beat the same horse over and over.....he should go to a successful team with an established starter. If I were him, go to somewhere like SF, LAR, etc. Somewhere with a successful QB coach and brilliant offensive mind and ALSO a set situation at QB. Ride the pine and adjust for a year or two. Chill and be around better culture. I would suggest the same for Bryce but he will be limited to wherever we can trade him.
