Good DL Coach Option

Cullen was the Lions DL Coach when Phil Snow was with them.

The problem? He's quite probably looking at better offers.

I thought we would have already hired a DL coach by now. Any rumblings about what's going on?

They're at the Senior Bowl though. It's like an assistant coach job fair so they could be talking to anybody.

Yeah, that's right the Senior Bowl is a job fair as well. I guess it will be announced soon. It needs to be so everyone can be on the same page looking at prospects and what we currently have

Funny thing but if I remember correctly, DL coach was one of the last ones announced in previous cycles. But then we've getting a new one every year Rhule has been here.

It'd probably be a good idea for that to stop

I was just thinking the same thing. I’m not sure why they do this. Seems it puts us behind the eight ball getting the best fit rather than picking over the leftovers. We run the risk of putting another inexperienced assistant at a crucial position for our defense IMO.

Not to worry. Rhule will just fire him next year and look for another one.
