Charlie Weis:"Golden Tate is a Steve Smith (carolina panthers) clone"

As long as he doesn't run over a 4.49 at the combine he will go Round 1. I think we have only begun to see the heights of his talent. The guy has RB build and demeanor with Steve Smith circus catching abilty and big play ability. I think he has more potential then Dez Bryant.

you think round 1 to who?..

The only teams that i see that need a WR in round 1 is

Baltimore Ravens

The pats

San Diego Chargers

Michael Floyd >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Golden Tate

I think he has more potential but Tates Stats this year (93rec 1496yds 15tds wow) > then Floyd's (44rec 795yds 9 tds). I don't think you can really say that hes better then Tate yet. And he has been playing WR all his football career where Tate has only been there for 3 seasons.

Those three as well as I think the Phins. I think they are finally getting tired of the Ginn experiment. And then you have to take in BPA for a lot of teams. I just don't see a guy with his talent coupled with his extremely consistent production I just don't see how he could slip out of the 1st. I hope I'm wrong and we can get him but I'm not going to hold my breath.

If fox is still here then.I think we will sign a vet QB(jason campbell)..Draft a WR in the 2nd..sign a vet WR.then take a QB in the 3rd or 4th.

If fox/hurney stay I am afraid the above scenario is very likely. We have to figure out how to get a highly rated QB in this draft. That will require getting into the first round, I don't know how to do that, which is why I would fire Hurney.

There is only two starters in this league that came in the 2nd (Brees and Shaub). And to tell you the truth no QB in this class really impresses me. There are a lot of options but to me it seems to be a lot of quantity and not much quality. I like Skelton more because we can get him cheap and he IMO has as much potential as any of the top QB's. I'm starting to hope we go after Jim Harbaugh he is a damn good QB teacher and look how fast and easily he has transformed Stanford. He has plenty of NFL background (he started and coached each over 10 years).

Floyd missed 5 games this year.

The catch he broke his collarbone on (which should have been ruled a TD) and the one he caught against Stanford, tip-toeing the sideline were amazing catches. He ain't much after the catch, like GT is but he certainly has soft hands.
