Anybody remember when Marty Hurney returned as the "interim" GM?  Rivera along with a couple of other employees conducted interviews with several well qualified candidates even though nobody seriously believed Hurney wasn't a shoe in for the job.

Yea so the Panthers interviewed him when they technically weren't required to interview minority candidates. Not sure this holds a ton of water or if he's just piggy backing on Flores's story right now.
