As Rayzor pointed out, he played in a championship game that Matt Rhule is never even going to come close to.

Not sure how Rhule "wins" on any level here.

Eli Apple is a jerk.

But Matt Rhule has about as much standing to talk about him as Jimmy Clausen does to criticize...well, anyone

I don't believe Rhule said what the completely unsourced original tweeter is alleging -- her comments are #FakeNews.

I know we hate Rhule but....Eli Apple sucks and probably is only in the NFL because the Bengals were scrapping the bottom of the barrel. No one likes this guy...all of his former teammates are dragging him lol.

He probably did say it but with more context. Like "if you are dont give 100% on the practice field, then how can I trust you to give 100% on game day? That kind of effort wil lead you playing nowhere in this league"

Wasn’t standing up for Rhule. I don’t think either are winners.

They are both jerks. Rhule sounds like the kind of coach Apple deserves.

I just have a lot more reasons to dislike Rhule, he is a terrible coach and this is yet another example of the depth of his awfulness. We just had one year of Apple, I had completely forgotten about him until this.

Eli Apple vs. Matt Rhule is one of those feuds where I want both guys to lose… odds are that they both will as well.

And regardless of how bad Apple is, he still has a better chance of sticking in the NFL than Rhule… that’s saying something.
