A better comp for CMC would be Deebo. If CMC really is in the plans for the future he should be used the way the 9ers use Deebo. 8-10 targets 5-6 rushes. Enough of this 20 carry per game and last 5 games garbage.

110% this. I think you use DJ and CMC in a Deebo role, and then bring in a true RB to also be a battering ram. Churn through RB's on rookie deals until the end of time, and put CMC in the best possible position to still be playing football in 6 years.

Kupp has been playing WR his whole life, Mccaffrey hasn’t. Your in for a rude awakening if you think Mccaffrey can even come close to that level of production at WR. Mccaffrey has feasted on linebackers and soft coverage his entire career, if I recall his best games production wise have been in blowout losses meaning a bunch of dump offs vs prevent D

Still, Most Valuable Player to their team this year is Cooper Kupp or Burrow in my opinion. Green Bay could’ve made the playoffs and immediately lost with many other QBs. Without Kupp or Burrow, CIN and LAR aren’t in this thing.

Green Bay lost the one game Rodgers didn’t play and the offense looked like poo. Not taking away from Burrow or Kupp, but the regular season MVP race should have Rodgers name in it. The playoffs on the other hand, Burrow and Kupp are crushing it and Rodgers didn’t look so good.

........I mean when he was taking off in 2019 he was still going off and we were winning games...then Kyle Allen poo the bed.

Fwiw, qb's are almost always the most valuable player on a good team.  TB without Brady, GB without Aaron, KC without Mahomes, they are all in a world of hurt.  Sometimes I think there should be a best QB, and a separate award for everyone else.

It does make the Eagles Superbowl win a few years ago amazing though.

We are 0-6 in Mcaffrey 6 games were he has over 100 yards receiving, only 2 of those games were competitive

    • The other draft picks have turned out pretty well. Brooks will too.
    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
