You can't base a bad head coach as your decision on whether he is a good coordinator.

There are several coordinators, both offensively and defensively, in this league that bombed out as a head coaches but are top tier coordinators.   McAdoo may not have been a great head coach but has history as a decent coordinator.  

My biggest fear is that Rhule can't let go of his connections with the NYG, Baylor or Temple.  That may be his comfort zone but closing his mind to others may be his downfall.

I'm saying with so many options, they choice maybe taken away from us because there are so few actually good candidates, that 'sometimes the answer is on your roster'(for this year)

My personal favorite candidate hasn't been hired...yet, but he's gotten second interviews from two teams.

There are interview windows for those guys.

Much as we all hate it, I genuinely think he's determined to keep Rhule for at least this season.

Yeah at this point, they have already hired a coordinator for him. Plus next year my guess is a much smaller turnover at HC. Won’t be competing with as many teams.
 

Somebody years ago, wrote an article and said owners start looking for head coaches the year before they fire them. They gauge their interest in the candidates and see how they do the following season. For some reason this keeps coming to mind when I think about us.
