Real playoffs set and schedule up. Congrats to all who made the cut, very competitive league so getting to the final 16 is quite an accomplishment.

Condolences to Portland Smackdown who got edged out in the MM tiebreaker by stwall by way of 4th tiebreaker (head to head) and to Charlotte49erfootball who got edged out by Sultan in the 5th tiebreaker (total points) for the Topcats wildcard. But most disappointed award has to go to Ashlock who is out despite a 9-5 record and the third highest points scored in the entire league. Both the #1 and #2 seeds in the entire playoffs were in his same division. Runner up disappointment award goes to ZZ Motorheads who somehow managed to not sniff the playoffs with a 7-7 record despite racking up 1215 total points so some bad beats in there.

Best use of points scored award goes to B's Cats who nabbed the #1 seed despite scoring a pedestrian 1072 points.

Son of a... I had a couple bad losses early in the season that I just couldn't over come. I noticed that I have the highet Power rank in the Top Cat conference but failed to make the playoffs, fantasy is crazy. I guess thats what makes it so fun. Oh well, I'll be back next year. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs.

Here's to hoping my team decides to show up this week. At least PantherPryd also has MJD so his production will basically cancel out.

That's what makes this type of league so unique. Yes it cancels out points but makes the other choices that much more important.

The last double header week did me in when Warner went out all woozy and it did seem I caught some guys best games during the season - it felt like everyone was gunning for me. I only had one game I could have won had I used my best roster so if I had been a better coach, I think I would have made the playoffs. Got the same problem in another league - most points for - even higher points against - sitting at .500.

    • You talk about keeping the shtshow alive and well in Pantherland just bring in Prime and Shedeur....
    • Elite QBs are made and need a team to work around them or you end up with a Phillip Rivers situation, at best.  Sometimes the QB is just the missing piece, or the QB finds the other factors that lift their game. You couldn't ask for a better example of both of those situations than looking at the Stafford/Goff trade between LA and Detroit. Send either of those two guys to Carolina or Cleveland and they just flop around on the turf near the 35 yard line, game after game. And as to the Texans and Commanders... those are two well coached and well-built teams. Massive turnarounds in each location, a lot of buy in by players and grabbing solid performers where they could. They got their QBs, but they also put them in the right environment. You claim I'm a 1990s football guy, I claim you're basing your evaluation more on Madden and fantasy football.
