Screw Dallas. They've cried about officiating multiple times this year. I'm still pissed about Jerome Boger and his crew taking away a forced fumble and recovery from Chinn week 4. Also - did you see how bad Boger's crew was Saturday? I can't believe this guy got a playoff game.

Game was filled with bad calls/no calls.

I will say this. At that point in the game, the Cowboys options were limited. One look at the 49ers defense on that play (a great vantage point below) and you can tell trying any route going towards the sidelines would be well defended, something they hadn't done up until that point. Even so, this is where some creative playcalling would've been a better option, something the Cowboys had shown they could do in this very game. I personally would've taken my end zone shot here since that defensive formation would've been more favorable to exploit or draw a penalty.

Also, McCarthy was correct in that there should had been no issues spotting the ball. Except he glosses over the fact that they were the ones that made the mistake by trying to do it themselves. That's something that shouldn't even require practice - and I wonder that was even practiced - because it's such a fundamental part of the game. The closest equivalent I could think of is when Kirk Cousins took a knee instead of spiking the ball and cost his team a chance to kick a field goal.

Sidelines protected, middle wide open. Get the ball in a playmakers hands with a wall of blockers in front. Dallas should have an example on film since the Chiefs did it to them.

Endorsements in general. You think I've got an active spreadsheet I'm updating these endorsements in real time? I'll leave that to you.

He has a bunch currently. Oikos dropped Cam due to public backlash of him "being a misogynist". Their call, mind you. Dak is getting backlash for him being okay with tepid violence toward hated referees. Very different and we all know the original point behind all of this, lol. buT bUT CaM! pOOr CaM!

What a tough week for the Bama /Cowboys/Lakers/Duke fan nation. You just hate to see it.

This post is hilarious, and true all at the same time. Most Duke fans I have come across seems to pull for these teams. If they’re not a cowboys fan, they’re a Steelers fan.

    • This is factually incorrect. He was a two time Pro Bowler with the Rams and in fact statistically he was better with the Rams in his best season there than he has been with the Lions(could change with this season). Some of his per game stats have creeped into being marginally better with the Lions but there have not been dramatic differences in his play, actually. The biggest reason that McVay and he ended up splitting was McVay didn't think he could win a title with Goff. TBH.....so far he was 100% correct. Stafford almost immediately won them a SB and Goff in a historic run was about 70% of the reason the Lions faltered in the NFC championship game. He missed critical throws all over the first half and throughout the second half that he normally wouldn't. He choked. So, until Goff actually does win a SB...McVay has been right.
    • they have the best defense they've had in a long time...probably the best in the reid/mahommes era.  but i think they are probably the most beatable they've been in a while as well. record doesn't exactly bear that out, but they just don't look as strong on offense as they usually do. lots of reasons for that, like trying to build chemistry with newer receivers, but right now they just aren't as frightening as they typically are. i mean they'll probably win tomorrow, but i don't see them as the strongest team in the AFC right now.
    • He will likely remain unsigned the remainder of this season(barring someone being in a pure QB panic AND making poor decisions) largely due to the cost. I do think he will get multiple offers to be a backup QB and perhaps a couple to potentially start this offseason.  I will continue to beat the same horse over and over.....he should go to a successful team with an established starter. If I were him, go to somewhere like SF, LAR, etc. Somewhere with a successful QB coach and brilliant offensive mind and ALSO a set situation at QB. Ride the pine and adjust for a year or two. Chill and be around better culture. I would suggest the same for Bryce but he will be limited to wherever we can trade him.
