You're a moron if you think Jake is the ONLY problem with this team and is the sole reason that we are not making the playoffs which is what your initial post was insinuating. What have you seen Vick do this year as the third string quarterback in Philly that suggests he would be our savior? I'm eagerly awaiting this response.

LOL, I was just saying yesterday that he is NOT our only problem. My point is that we would be a better team with Vick as our quarterback and would probably have five or six wins right now rather than four. That would have least kept things entertaining for the next few weeks as we stayed in the playoff hunt.

In every win this year except for Atlanta, we've won in spite of Jake. Think about that for a second. Really, could things have been worse with Vick? Yes, with Vick you're going to get some very poor games. But guess what? Every single damn game Jake has played except for his most recent game against Atlanta has been about what you would have gotten from a bad Michael Vick. And when you think about the fact that Bad Vick doesn't always happen, you have to think that we'd have five or six wins with him at quarterback right now.

The funny thing is that if we had dumped Jake at the start of the season and *only* had five or six wins right now with Vick, everybody would be crucifying Fox/Hurney because they would have thought there was no way that a Jake Delhomme-led team could have done worse.

ummmm... yall say what u want, but vick is a winner, and could add a running dimension, when the pocket breaks down, hes good to run..... vick is calm in the pocket and takes few sacks..... id take vick at this point in a heartbeat.... but i would still draft a future.... colt mccoy is being projected 2nd round, id also be willing to move pep for whatever it took to move up to get bradford... but there alot of quality QB's this yera in the draft

If all things were equal, maybe. But they are not. In order for us to have picked Quinn, we would not have Jon Beason and Ryan Kalil. Do I think Brady Quinn after one good game against one of the worst teams in the league would be worth parting with both Beason and Kalil? Hell no. Were you on here in awe of Quinn's performances earlier in this season saying he would be better than having both of those two players? No, you weren't, and you would have been silly to argue it. Hence why you're fitting my description to a T.

And I don't know how fair it is to judge Brady Quinn who currently has the worst supporting cast in football around him. Do you think that Jake Delhomme would be able to have a 4-touchdown performance with Massaquoi as his top receiver, Robert Royal as his top tight end, and Jamal Lewis as his only running back?

They both went to Pro Bowls several years ago....but we are talking about Vick who has been in prison for 18 months prior to this season, not Vick from 2004. Comparing Young to him at this point in his career is a disrespect to Young.

Players get hurt for a season! He did miss that time! He is fresh! They thought VY was going to kill his self. Look at VY now! The common denominator is VY and Vick won't be game planned against like Joke or Quinn! MV has been playing football over 20 years! A little time off was probaly a good thing!

i think its a pretti good idea. how can u assume he cant be a starting qb based of of what hes done with the eagles he hasnt had much of a chance. i dont care about his touchdown to int ratio. herm edwards:u plai to win the game! thats what vick does win games. i think most of our posters either forgot how he use to make our defense look stupid or either are realli against have a black qb at the helm. the same things ur stating about vick u said about vice and look at him in his return. hes not lighting the score board up but hes winning games converting on 3rd down when things break down. now i am still in favor of drafting a qb. i d love to see jake locker brought in. colt would me good to i just want more big plai abliti brought in.
