After listening to Fitt interview and Jermaine Carter tweets.. Its clear that MLB position will be filled by a new player next season...

Jmo not a 1st round need but there are some solid options in the 2nd 3rd and 4th round of the draft that can start day 1...

You may have not been one of them, but most on this board wanted him gone because he did not get the jab. I guess the Panthers showed him.

Carter is ok. Replaceable but solid depth.

As nice a story as he might be, Jermaine Carter was definitely a liability this year.

Fitt mentioned somewhere else that he’d like to trade back in the 12ish part of the first. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if we picked a MLB and then go offense with what we got in a trade back. If we can even find a trade partner.

Dream Scenario...Eagles want trade up for secondary help and get the corner of their choosing or Hamilton.

We get 16 and 19. Hope  Linderbaum, Cross, Green, or Penning is there at 16 then 19 take Dean or Lloyd

He's a fine backup MLB. He's a great situational, spell, package MLB. He's just utterly outclassed when asked to be an every down linebacker. I hope we retain him, but he cannot be our starting MLB.
