Titans 4 Straight Now

Kerry wasn't doing the job. The boss said Vince is now starting. And now they won 4 straight to keep their playoffs alive after starting so bad

Vince might not be the best skilled pocket passer as some in the league but its obvious that change sparked the team. Once they started winning gave them more confidence

It's all about attitude too. A friend told me that the team got together (can't remember if it was after 0-6, or 1-6) and pledged to win the rest of their games. That's a longshot, but still, they're going out there with the attitude to do just that and they've won four in a row.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in the Panthers locker room to know what frame of mind they're in.

too bad carolina is rarely in the right position to draft one.

That's a silly thing to say. We are in the position every year to draft a quarterback.

I recognize that, in recent years, quarterback hasn't been a priority (especially with this offense). But must we always settle for undrafted quarterbacks? Would it hurt to use a mid- to late-round pick on a quarterback?

Undrafted ones are the only ones Jake can beat out in practice.

Who, with the power of hindsight, would you have drafted?

    • You talk about keeping the shtshow alive and well in Pantherland just bring in Prime and Shedeur....
    • Elite QBs are made and need a team to work around them or you end up with a Phillip Rivers situation, at best.  Sometimes the QB is just the missing piece, or the QB finds the other factors that lift their game. You couldn't ask for a better example of both of those situations than looking at the Stafford/Goff trade between LA and Detroit. Send either of those two guys to Carolina or Cleveland and they just flop around on the turf near the 35 yard line, game after game. And as to the Texans and Commanders... those are two well coached and well-built teams. Massive turnarounds in each location, a lot of buy in by players and grabbing solid performers where they could. They got their QBs, but they also put them in the right environment. You claim I'm a 1990s football guy, I claim you're basing your evaluation more on Madden and fantasy football.
