What bothers me about the whistle call is that they know there was an inadvertent whistle but they just chose to ignore it because it makes them look bad. 

Obviously the side judge knows he blew the whistle and boger was a few yards away and had to hear it.  Ignoring it is not a judgment call, it is just not enforcing the rulebook correctly with regards to inadvertent whistles and that is even worse and not acceptable.

Having said that, if they had ruled the inadvertent whistle and took away the td, there is obviously still a bad screw up and would have screwed the bengals but it is the correct call imo.

 That whistle came when the ball was two feet from Boyd’s hands and the DB had already stopped. That whistle changed nothing that would have happened anyway. The DB gave up because he was beat the ball was past him already. Quit bitching about every call. They got the timeout correct as well.

      Nailed it! Chiefs got #10 overall (and selected Mahomes) and sent the Bills #27, #91, and a 2018 first-rounder (ended up being #18) to pick the QB that has kept them out of the Super Bowl. 💀 Tbf to the Bills tho, they turned those picks into Tre'Davious White, Dion Dawkins, Tremaine Edmunds, and Siran Neal. Three out of four hits ain't bad at all, but that one for one for KC... ooh wee mayne.

      Yep. Happens to a lot of talented kids. I just think a lot of people don't understand that just because this kid is super talented doesn't mean he's going to make it to the pros. Most of them won't. Some will get injured. Some will run into trouble off the court/field. Some won't put in the work. The catering greatly increases the odds of the latter two. Then most will simply just not be good enough to make it to the pros. Either way, it all adds up to a long shot and the kids need to have solid plan Bs. A few years back my HS had the #1 RB recruit on the nation. He originally committed to UGA but flipped to Bama and was getting decent playing time as a true freshman before obliterating his ankle. He was never the same again after that. Never made it to the pros. Not sure what happened to him but evidently he wasn't the brightest bulb and was basically just getting passed through school to stay academically eligible. I don't think he was a bad kid, never really heard anything like that. He just wasn't all that bright and all the eggs were in the football basket.
