Oh we are getting on this train, just not this year. It will be sometime mid season next year. Especially, once all quality replacement candidates are employed elsewhere.

McDaniels is saying he won't interview anywhere until the Pats are done (mind you, that could happen a lot sooner than usual this year) but yeah, that connection seems obvious.

I suppose Flores could be in play here too.

Which is stupid. That gives Rhule A LOT of time to waste even more draft picks and money. I just don't fuggin get it anymore. Tepper sucks so fuggin much. Just get rid of this fuggin clown already

Another bad firing. Culley had that team competitive with a rookie QB and a garbage roster that was gutted by the previous regime. Totally nuts to fire a guy like that. There's tons of bad decisions happening across the NFL. Sad to say the Panthers not firing Matt Rhule is another one.

True but Culley knew it was a bad situation and at his age probably just wanted the biggest pay day of his career. 

Granted he did better than many expected but he was a bridge coach for a bridge roster. He'll find work as a position coach soon
