Sam Mills was the leader of a defense that deserves alot of credit for the first Panthers playoff run in 96. That playoff run gave this franchise alot of much needed instant credibility. He was the team's first inspirational leader and set the standard for which all Panthers are judged. Being great players on the field and even greater off of it.
