David Tepper is showing his cowardice by remaining silent and not meeting with the media.

My gut feeling is he'll only meet with the propagandists of panthers.com and won't talk to the local media.

He's already shown he's a bottom 3 owner by keeping Rhule this long. He's a loser as an NFL owner.

If the only interview he grants is to the propagandists of the Panthers that will only lob softball questions - he should continually be called out for being a coward and a loser as an NFL owner.

Be a man, cut your losses, own your mistake and speak to the media.

Put the pipe down.

dude loved the attention at the start and has been MIA lately.

hasn’t even put out a statement or anything.

Yup sure enjoyed dancing around the stadium his first year before the L's started coming. I guess he'll get cornered at the owners meeting by some media but it won't be a legit 20-30 minute presser

    • Cam acts like he's a respected authority who can criticize teams and other quarterbacks. I get why. If all these talking heads who've never thrown a football in their life can speak on it than why not a Heisman winner and MVP? Problem is the narrative that Cam was a gifted player who came up short because of his selfishiness is still alive and well.  So that gets thrown back in his face a lot and he takes the bait everytime.  It's all been downhill since the Game Changers vs Game Managers stuff. From anyone else that's normal sports talk, but Cam's legacy is still too up in the air to be criticizing the people actively doing it. . Just recently he was asked if he would trade the MVP for a SB ring and it set him up to basically diss his old team. And he has too much of an ego to just state his opinion and stand on it so he tries to defend his legacy and then he becomes the topic of conversation It's not like in the Carolinas where we blame his shoulder, his coaches, his roster etc. The average NFL fan thinks Cam is still physically capable and just too eccentric, selfish, or inaccurate to be in the league anymore. I don't think he realizes that so he keeps putting himself out there and making it worse.
    • I don’t mean this to disparage you, but duh. It’s why some of us still don’t get why we think Morgan had a solid draft this year. I don’t think the huddle gets what a strong draft is. We haven’t had many in our history but drafts like 2017 that net an MVP level RB, a very solid long career RT and a top K plus role player like Samuel or getting top DTs and top Gs plus a couple more average starters in back to back drafts solidifies a team that goes to 4 out of 5 playoffs. The 2018 to 2024 drafts got a handful of decent players but is basically a net negative talent building. Pick 8 better be a pro bowl level players or we’ll stay where we are. We also need some other picks to hit as well.
