Regarding Kevin Colbert

Agree with pretty much all of that, with the exception I prefer Rhule gone ASAP.

Kevin Colbert reminds me too much of Kerry Colbert and then I get sad.

Kevin Colbert was a piece of a puzzle that worked in Pittsburgh.  The idea that he could come to a different organization that is in a completely different place than the Steelers is fool's gold.  Does anyone here think that Colbert could take the Detroit Lions to the Super Bowl?  Because that's where he came from.  There are 2 different things your answer can reveal.  The sane answer is NO.  If you say yes, check yourself into the looney bin.  And if you answer is NO, then why would he be the answer here?

He’s not available until after the 2022 NFL Draft (sometime late May at best) so would be of no use for the upcoming season…

Colbert wasn't "a piece of the puzzle". He was the architect of the whole damn thing.

It took several years before Michael Jordan found the right GM and coach to get the Hornets looking like a team that can make the playoffs .  They are young and fun to watch .  Tepper is new to being an owner but he is not dumb .  He sees what we are seeing .  Give him a little time and things will work out .

How many coaches did MJ go though?  Did he seem to stick with losing coaches because he liked them?  I get Tepper wants to be patient, but Rhule is a freaking joke in the NFL.  Sure he may be an effective coach at the college level, but not in this League.  Our fan base is already checking out for 2022 and don't have the patience for Rhule to continue to 'figure it out' at this level for another season or two.

was he though?  Who had the final say on Tomlin?  My guess the owner.

If Tomlin is a large part of their success and if the owner had the final say on Tomlin then Colbert can't be the architect of the whole thing.
