4 Starters Sit out Practice

Four Carolina Panthers starters sat out Wednesday's practice, including both starting defensive tackles Maake Kemoeatu (ankle) and Damione Lewis (shoulder). Also taking the day off were tight end Jeff King (knee) and wide receivers Muhsin Muhammad (foot) and Kenneth Moore (hamstring).

Defensive end Hilee Taylor returned to practice on Wednesday.

Man i hope we can get theback for sundays game or its going to be way tougher miss 3 DT that were at top of depth chart. Good news hilee taylor is back ... but yeah i think we should find a replace for hayden. I don't want to give up on him but we are having a pressing need for a starting DT and yes hayden may be future but i think we should try looking in free agency for quick fix for play offs. Hopefully the new guy we sign can vastly help.

considering the scope of a "christmas eve" practice could it be that the other 2 DT's have been playing all season and maybe they wanted to give the new guys some practice time THEY NEED??????

Let them all sit out as much as they want to heal. They know how to play already. Maybe this will get them to where they can play Sunday.
