Got it, just promote rhule to OC as well, like Sean mcvay.  I mean he's brilliant, he's made so many brilliant roster moves and his ability to not sound like a dipshit is unmatched.  He is our alpha and our omega, our beginning and end, ALL HAIL THE GOD KING RHULE!

I don't think Tepper will let that happen. Rhule's back is against the wall. He will get the best candidate that is willing to come.

Best case scenario is Tepper forces the hire of an actual NFL quality OC who in the back of their mind knows Rhule might get let go halfway through the season and this is their one shot at a future head coaching job. If Rhule picks up on that vibe he may actually say fug it and bounce back to college

The safe choice is Nixon for Rhule. But I also wouldn’t be surprised if he got Satterfield back from South Carolina. He is the current OC there and was our assistant OL coach last year. I don’t know if he would want to come back on a lame duck season when they just got Rattler and some other transfers. 
 

Gilbride is the dark horse, he’s 70 but was a coordinator before with the Giants.
