When they announce Rhule is officially back next year, I will officially check out. I will begin planning my golf trips for every Sunday next year. Every tee time will be booked and I will find myself a nice different scotch, whiskey or bourbon to share with my friends on the course and BBQ afterwards.

I'm very close to being done. Why bring Rhule back when he hasn't shown any type of improvement and on top of that, he's a moron who compares himself to Jay-Z?

The stadium is going to be damn near empty next season. Nothing to sell the fans on to get them hyped for the season. Who wants to watch this BS?

You all know me as the sunflower of positivity and all that is wholesome and just, I hope this puts a sense of urgency (not desperation) into the decisions surrounding this team.  I hope that Rhule, without mortgaging the future, is able to put the right people in the right seat and drive the dang bus.  I want to see some coaching changes, and I am guessing there will be some.

I would not be surprised to see three first rounders + Brian Burns (speculation) in a trade for Watson.

I’ll watch till the wheels fall off , like against Philly and NYgiants

I’ve learned so much from this group 😁

just an example. Change lightbulb to fire matt Rhule . This is meant as humor, and not directed at Mr Scott or any other huddler.

Q: How many group members does it take to change light bulb ?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that the light bulb has been changed.

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently.

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs.

6 to argue over whether it's 'lightbulb' or 'light bulb'.

Another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid.

22 to tell THOSE 6 to stop being jerks.

5 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is 'lamp'.

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that 'light bulb' is perfectly correct.

49 to post memes and gifs (several are of Michael Jackson eating popcorn with the words added, “I’m just here for the comments.”)

19 to post that this page is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to a light bulb page.

11 to defend the posting to this page saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant here.

24 to discuss the merits of LED/swirly fluorescent light bulbs

44 to claim LED and fluorescent bulbs will kill you.

12 to post F.

8 to ask what F means.

7 to post 'Following' but there's 3 dots at the top right that means you don't have to.

15 to say "can't share"

2 to reply "can't share from a closed group"

36 People to post pics of their own light bulbs.

15 People to post "I can't see S$%^!" and use their own light bulbs.

6 to report the post or PM an admin because someone said "f÷×$"

4 to say "Didn't we go through this already a short time ago?".

13 to say "Do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs".

5 admins to ban the light bulb posters who took it all too seriously.

1 late arrival to comment on the original post 6 months later and start it all over again.

20 to give up on fb and take their dogs for a walk instead.*****
And then somebody announces they are leaving the group over the light bulb post, and someone replies back that this isn't an airport so you don't need to announce your departure.

And, I'm over here sipping on my whiskey... enjoying the posts.

Anyone who thought Matt rhule would be gone is delusional. You don't sign him to a 7 year deal and let him go after 2 seasons. He was always hired to build a competitive culture and rebuild the team, hence the 7 year contract. He took a couple years to rebuild the programs at Baylor and Temple. It just happened the panthers came out competitive this season so the mantra shifted from rebuild to competing, but that got shot down real quick. Rebuilds don't happen overnight and I want rhule gone now, but fact of the matter is, this guy is here for a while.

The NFL isn’t as fun when the Panthers suck, so the NFL hasn’t been as fun in quite awhile.  But, I’ll still watch the games.  A lot of my Panthers gear are gifts so I’ll simply have to tell folks that my birthday is gonna go in a different direction this year lol.  Or maybe a golf club with “Fore Rhule” etched on it

I checked out after the Arizona game when it was clear that Cam was not going to start for awhile, if at all. He did play a lot in the weeks after that but the offense was so bad I was cool with not watching anyway. Once Sam came off IR and Rhule immediately decided to start him thinking he could get Sam back to playing well, I checked out the rest of the way. Will not buy any merch or go to a single game until Rhule either pulls off a highly improbably turnaround or he gets fired. Likely will not watch much, if any, of the games either. They're so fuging boring. The Canes and Hornets are both way above the Panthers in viewing priority. The Canes are arguably the best team in the NHL this year and the Hornets are at least a good bet to be entertaining even if they don't win.

If Rhule is brought back, will that be enough for you to bail on the Panthers or would it take more?

If more, what?

I'm releasing my psls, but will still watch.

I'll never change teams, but I'm not going to invest $2,000 a year in tickets when I can do that for $800 during bad seasons.

If Rhule is back I’m not buying a seat to a single game.  No merch.  Nothing. No money going into this nightmare. Same for soccer.  Only way fans can communicate.

This is what it will take to get the message across.  Vote with your dollars.

The concern is that PSL holders are just kinda stuck.  They made that big investment, and walking away from it is hard.  Buy your tickets or you lose your investment.  So glad I wasn't one of those who did it.

    • We could easily pick apart yesterday’s game: dropped passes, blown coverages, bad tackling and red zone issues to name a few. But it was clear that this wasn’t the same team from earlier in the season. They fought back and hung with the champs until the end. That’s what I was excited to see and it gives me hope that we’re on the right track.
    • I think BY played well today and exceeded expectations. I will temper future expectations as he has to string together many games of consistent quality. One game doesn’t convince me that he is a franchise QB or even a guy you want to stick with for another season. One game doesn’t erase all the negative play and limitations from the past couple of years. I hope he balls out and continues to get better but for me the verdict is still out   That said, I think he gave the team and fans hope yesterday which is a lot more than what we had when we woke up Sunday morning.
    • He was vastly improved today and we need to see more of Bryce the rest of the season to continue evaluate him in order to decide what the heck to do with him at the end of the season. He must play at least like this and improve more from here the rest of the season in order for me to keep him. No more 123 yard passing games and want to see at least this output weekly from him. If this is Bruce improving slowly over time then Canales is even better with developing QB's than I thought he was but still too early to tell and we need to see him the rest of the way as he has at very least earned back the starting gig moving forward.
