David Newton: "Fore Rhule"?????

Is David Newton really suggesting that the chants are "Fore Rhule" and not "Fire Rhule"?  Or is he just a bone dry and witty guy?  This borders on criminal stupidity.  Did anyone else see this?

Newton:  "The fanbase also seems to back Rhule, as the crowd was cheering "Fore Rhule" at the last home game and fans were even chanting that a Charlotte Hornets game this past week."

Sorry -- just saw this mentioned in another thread.

That’s an embarrassing article.  Even for Newton.

Cheering for Matt Rhule?  They even had Fire Matt Rhule T shirts on.  And basically every local news outlet has covered the boo and fire chants at BoA and the Hornets game.

Article is now changed

The fanbase has shown impatience with the head coach, as the crowd was cheering "Fire Rhule" at the last home game and fans were even chanting that a Charlotte Hornets game this past week.

So he changed the lie but still didn't bother to correct the actual grammatical error? I really don't get how he's survived through like 500 ESPN layoffs
