Ok its a long shot. But at 6'2¼ 222 lbs it would prob take more of foxes ill advised trading of next years pick not to mention getting back into the first rd this year.(bye peppers)

Think about it this kids been a pretty good qb his whole time at washington with the least amount of talent supporting him. The panthers wrs would actually be an upgrade as it is for him. If im going to take risk on a big time investment at qb its going to be on a guy whos done more with less, than a guy whos been overhyped by the talent around him. NFL cailber qb coach in steve starkesien(not sure if spelled right).Above average arm great leadership and wow factor scrambling ablity, but then again are the carolinas ready for another jake?????????

oh bye the way bradford is the 3rd rated qb right now if he falls past 15 i say we make the same move as we did with jeff oath.

Add periods and capitalization then I'll read.

Fixed it so you can read it KK. Jeff Oath is the man.

Translated as:

Okay, it's a long shot, but Jake Locker is a big quarterback who would require us to make several ill-advised fox trades to get him (we are back to bartering with animal furs in the event of an uncapped year).

He has been a good quarterback with little talent around him. The Panthers wide receivers would be cute upgrades for him. Are the Carolinas ready for another Jake?

I could see us going after Bradford like we did with Oath. Promise.

    • You talk about keeping the shtshow alive and well in Pantherland just bring in Prime and Shedeur....
    • Elite QBs are made and need a team to work around them or you end up with a Phillip Rivers situation, at best.  Sometimes the QB is just the missing piece, or the QB finds the other factors that lift their game. You couldn't ask for a better example of both of those situations than looking at the Stafford/Goff trade between LA and Detroit. Send either of those two guys to Carolina or Cleveland and they just flop around on the turf near the 35 yard line, game after game. And as to the Texans and Commanders... those are two well coached and well-built teams. Massive turnarounds in each location, a lot of buy in by players and grabbing solid performers where they could. They got their QBs, but they also put them in the right environment. You claim I'm a 1990s football guy, I claim you're basing your evaluation more on Madden and fantasy football.
