AB speaks about incident

Recommended Posts

Regardless of how anyone may feel one way or another about any of this or him on a personal level. It's obvious he needs help and not yes men around him. Doesn't sound like TB did him any favors in that area. But he's also grown and must seek out help and use better judgment. He should definitely get away from social media first and foremost. Good luck to him.

I did. You bring up Arians being not credible because he’s a loudmouth who got the team MRSA. Yet have no problem dismissing ABs entire life to call his version somehow “more credible”. Which version is your actual opinion. Your first or last? Because they’re nowhere near the same.

Arians had nothing to do with the MRSA and I never suggested that. Arians has a track record of being a massive bullshitter. So does AB. They can both lack credibility and it doesn't matter who is "more credible," all I have said is that it's believable that aspects of Brown's statement are true. I'm not saying that's definitely what happened, I have no idea, we can wait for potential evidence to emerge and see what happens, but it's certainly believable and within the realm of possibilities. If that's so hard for you to comprehend I don't know how to simplify it any more.

I'm done here, you can keep quoting me if you like, you've posted 20 times in this thread for some reason, might be a new thread record for a single poster you can keep adding to.

So Arians biggest crime is being a loudmouth for a “trash” organization that gave the team MRSA, was reason enough to flat out believe a player who does this consistently. But AB is the more credible one YOU chose to believe and called anyone who gave any credibility to Arians in this situation a “fool”. Pretty simple to see what your thought process was.

If people want to continue living in a fantasy land of their own creation, it’s hard to laugh and respond to theories with holes everywhere. Don’t blame you for stopping. You were already digging in a deep hole.

You wouldn’t have to call me out. I’d take total blame on my own. Always have. Just like when you told me and all the people that knew Darnold sucked, that they needed to be ready to eat crow. How did that work out for you.

There is no hate. He’s just an ass who brings all these  incidents on himself. Pointing out his lack of credibility is just logical. Much more than believing a lawyer statement that doesn’t add up.

Worked out for me just fine.

It opened my eyes to the fact that it wasn't just the Jets and Gase that sucked but Sam himself, too.

Wait, if Arians gave him the throat slash gesture and said YOU'RE DONE! on the sidelines, some camera somewhere would have captured that.  Has it surfaced yet?  He was very specific in what he said Arians did and said, so that's where the credibility can be proven.

"While Antonio did receive treatment on his ankle and was listed on the injury report the week leading up to last Sunday's game, he was cleared to play by our medical team prior to the start of the game and at no point during the game did he indicate to our medical personnel that he could not play.

"We have attempted, multiple times throughout this week, to schedule an evaluation by an outside orthopedic specialist, yet Antonio has not complied. Maintaining the health and wellness of our players is of the utmost importance to our organization."

    • He made some excellent throws but he always has made some excellent throws here and there. I don't know what to think, which is what I was apprehensive about. Is he going to have a decent downfield game? Because okay Legette dropped one, but someone was giving stats prior to the bye or during it where he had two downfield completions and one of them was the jump ball that is just launched and fingers are crossed that our guy comes down with it, and yesterday we saw that again. The Russell Wilson school of downfield passing.  I don't feel like that is sustainable, but at the same time you have to do Something to make the defense understand they have to defend that downfield throws. Like i said, confused.  I guess I'm going to review the game for myself and look closely at his mechanics and stuff because if he actually fixed that stuff it explains the better throws. And that has been my biggest objection, or what I see as the thing that makes or breaks his chances, that unorthodox dropback and tippy toe action and not having his feet set which limits velocity etc etc.
    • The negative Nancy in me (or objective?) says that they had a bye week to prepare for the Chiefs. However, it’s one thing to have a good plan and it’s another to actually execute it. For all the flack he’s received (from me as well), Bryce seemingly has put his head down and worked his tail off and his play is giving me hope. The first 18-game Bryce showed no progression whatsoever. He gets benched, comes back, and has shown steady progress every week he has started. I think I’m starting to see what the Bryce lovers and unconditional defenders were saying all along, and I hope he can show that on a regular basis for the sake of our QB1 position.
    • Yeah, we could still very well end up 4-13 with the 2nd pick.   I think LVR has the inside track for 1, with only a JAX team as a team on docket that could be beatable.
