Don Banks: 2010 Coaching Options...

Samuel L. Jackson

Some names I've looked at, others I haven't. I'll have to take a look at some of the new guys.

Mularkey, Williams, Carroll, Nolan and Gilbride have already been NFL head coaches and the results weren't so hot.

Let us not forget that Belichick was the HC of the Browns and was pretty miserable before he was redeemed at NE.

Although 9.7 times out of 10 it doesn't work that way. I just thought I would throw that out there.

The only name I might really be interested in of that bunch would be Nolan.

Similar stories can be told about Marv Levy, Dick Vermeil, and others. Still, it's a risk. I'd rather have a guy on his first head coaching job.

I'm leaning less toward Frazier than I did before, in part because his defense is so talented, but also because his first stint as a DC (Bengals under Marvin Lewis some years back) didn't go as well.

PFT says the Bills are contacting Cowher. Apparently they'd be willing to pay him 10 million per season.

Maybe they figure having a coach named Bill will solve their issues.

Saw that, looking more and more like Fox will be at the helm next year.

10 milliion is crazy money. Although we'll pay a defensive end 16.7 million so who knows.

    • If Young’s as bad as everybody says he is then yeah, it is plausible.
    • Yeah, he only gives a poo about those two players on his team. Everyone else is just support and an NPC that makes his games run smoothly. I know from personal experience Deion is a first class prick and absolutely out his damn mind in all he does. He is trouble these days in any situation he walks into.
