In a week 17 meaningless game.

No surprise.  Rhule’s only NFL coaching experience was on OL before us, and they have consistently been horrible under his watch.  He doesn’t know what he’s doing on OL or anywhere else lol

Why wouldn’t you even consider letting him get in game experience even on an extremely limited basis if you are red shirting him this year? We are out of playoff contention and literally have garbage players starting who will not be with the team next year.

It has to be because Rhule is fighting for his job. Makes no sense otherwise.

If he isn't on IR then WTF?

Play anyone else, we have 3 spots that are easily replaceable with anyone worth a try with Erving out. He is not a red shirt for fugs sake. Play the man or cut his ass and sign some rando to give it a try.

Agreed. Amazing that people can’t even realize that Brown wasn’t ready to play in the NFL this year. WTF we didn’t take Trey Smith, I’ll never understand. Brown was such a big bust potential that IMHO overshadowed Smith’s medical condition, which obviously wasn’t very hard for the Chiefs to handle. Take Smith and then if you still need a project take Brown over the LS.

Our OL sucks but it still shocks me how we seem to fall in love with late round guys as if they are somehow better than they are. Smith was never a worry about NFL talent just medical. Brown was a legit worry. I mean if he is in that bad a shape at the Senior Bowl week after playing a whole year at Alabama, that’s a legit worry.

100% agree

My guess is Deonte has shown laziness or just doesn’t understand the playbook.

Unless it absolutely overt, in which case one should wonder why he's even on the roster, why not put him in and see if he's perhaps more of a gamer than practice player? Even if he sucks just swap Miller back in. Makes little to no sense.

    • It's not good to leave any netminder having a bad night out there, not fair to them, not fair to the skaters still trying to win the game It's classless and shows a lack of respect, for them has a player and a human being, you aren't gaining anything, you aren't learning anything , except they just don't have it that night. I don't care if it's a multiple Vezina Winner, or a 3rd string back up, don't leave them out there to shame themselves and the rest of the team  What if Lavi left Cam in when he didn't have it, and Rod had to skate knowing he essentially has an open net at his end of the ice, would he enjoy that ?
    • If they draft Stewart at 8th, I will ask @Mr. Scot for a list of GMs and might as well ask for HC too.....
    • I can't for the life of me figure out what people are seeing in Stewart on tape. If he can't just simply run around or through the OL in front of him, he's cooked. I don't see any actual moves. If he doesn't win on sheet athleticism at the point of contact he's nullified. I don't know if I've ever seen him actually beat a block once engaged. Then, even if he just blasts right past or through the OL and has a clean path to the ball it's like he's blind. He can't find the ball. He's like a bottle rocket. Yeah, he takes off fast but he's just going to go fast in a general direction. There will be no course correction. I watched quite a bit on him just because of his perceived draft evaluation and because of the wild discrepancy between measurables and production. Watch him play and it all makes since. He's a god tier physical specimen who just happens to be playing football. I don't see a football player. People need to stop falling in love with the potential and start realizing why the potential isn't translating.
