Another one would be taking back the Sean Gilbert trade. Washington traded our 9th overall pick to the Saints who used it on Ricky Williams. Guys like Champ Bailey and Torry Holt were still on the board when the Saints used that pick on Williams. The next year, the Skins traded our 12th overall pick through the 49ers to the Jets and they used it to select Shaun Ellis.

So from 1997 through 2000 we only had two first round picks and they were Rae Carruth and Jason Peter...

OK so after consideration and clarification my wish is that the Panthers had identified and convinced a superior QB to not enter the draft and instead join us at whatever contract we could afford.
