well...our QB's have been worse than awful...so has our OL, our LB, our run defense, our TE, our WR

I do fear that Rhule will be desperate to save his job and ruin the franchise for years to come to try and win now. I mean look what Bill Obrien did to the Texans. Rhule knows that Cam and Sam are not the answer at the QB position and I think he will reach for a QB in this year's draft and get fired because he has another losing record. 

I hope whoever coaches the Panthers in 2023 has the guts to start all over and draft another QB of their liking. Similar to what Cardinals did with Kyler Murray and Josh Rosen, it turned out pretty good for them.

I guess if you’re looking at this from Tepper’s viewpoint an “epic meltdown” would have to be a stock market crash where he loses everything. 
 

Because if what he’s seen this year and heard about things that Rhule has said doesn’t constitute a meltdown then the team basically has to fall apart.

Rhule will try his best to move on after next year. Just like he did this year. College openings happen in October and will will start fast and he will secure his new job before the collapse.

I think there is a 3 year clause in the contract and Tep’s whole he is embarrassed article is him telling the fans this without telling the fans this. 

Not sure what breaking that clause would mean though other than money.

Regardless, Tep needs to protect 2023 picks at all costs.

Honestly, I’d prefer not to strap in at this point. There is a ton of avoidable problems we are deciding to run gale force into.
 

I’m not willing to stand by as a fan for that. Cut the loss before it becomes a greater one. This could set us back even further if we keep Rhule another year and if this is the precedent being set, I’m shut off next year. I’ve got the Hornets, Cubs, and Blackhawks. I’ve never been so no sh!ts given about this franchise and it’s been in my life for some time.
