Matt Rhule responds to scathing report of volatile culture

Quick then brought up Rhule’s reported mention of being offered those collegiate opportunities, to which he again did not buy into.

“Again, I’m not gonna comment on anything someone anonymously said, something to somebody. That’s just not my way of doing things.”

His way of doing things, unfortunately, hasn’t done much for either him or this struggling franchise.

For the sake of his own career, he should quit now. If he doesn’t turn things around next year (unlikely) he’ll find himself in Adam Gase territory. Un-hirable.

Seriously, if he was disconnected from the locker room would he realize that he isn't connected? Would he be hearing these things is there was a disconnect there?

He should negotiate a payout to leave.  Then he can be ready for one of those higher paying college jobs next year.  Win, win.

He turned from the podium as if to leave and then paused. "No," he added, after a moment of silence, "they love me." And to the astonishment of the press junket he dropped into a rap squat, knees popping, hands clasped, head held high. "Trust the process," he said.

And then he melted into the night.
