Count me as one of the guys that was wrong about how much he could actually do for Minnesota. I never got into the Bring Favre to Carolina discussion, but I did think that Minnesota made the wrong move "team wise" by bending over backwards for the guy adn bringing him there so late. Good for Favre, good for Minny.

Favre - 1

Vikings - 1

Me - 0

I'm with you 100% on this one and admit I was wrong about the Favre effect for Minnesota. I still don't think the Panthers would be 9-1 with Lord Favre at quarterback for a few reasons (different offensive system, not nearly as good defense, overall greater talent at receiver and pass blocking), but I can't deny that he is having a great season so far.

My MVP goes to Manning. Guy has a pathetic running game, average receivers (outside wayne and clark), a so-so D, and he single-handedly makes them super bowl contenders, if not favorites. He does more to make that team great than anyone else in the league.

So there #1 & #2 are Pro Bowlers but 3 & 4 are average?? Only teams in a better situation then that are Arizona & NE.
