It doesn't matter, man. This franchise is stuck in doormat territory as long as Rhule is here. The only question that remains is how deep of a hole is he going to dig?

That's the scary part. I didn't think it could get this low, but the idea of retaining Rhule and trotting Sam out there again week 1 next year makes me full body cringe.

Am I the only one thinking this is a bit of an overreaction? Also the “rentals” at corner is just false information, Bouye and Henderson will be here next year. Team needs legit help, our o line is a disaster and our coaching has been poor. If you fix those two factors this is a real playoff team.

How do you figure this is a real playoff team? That seems more of an overreaction to me. Even if you fix the OL, you think Sam is taking us to the playoffs? Not a chance. Everything on this team is broken and we are waaaaaay way off from the Playoffs.

This is why it's not an overreaction. There's no indication this is going to get fixed.

This right here is also an overreaction. I don’t even know if it’s fair to evaluate any single quarterback on this roster, are we watching the same game? The QBS are literally getting zero time in the pocket, not even enough time to even get the ball out on most plays. “Everything on this team is broken” dude our defense has given up the second least amount of yards and has genuinely and undoubtedly played great this season even given the fact that our o line turns the ball over and literally can’t move downfield every drive. Shaq Thompson looks special out there I love seeing that guy play every week, our defense is young and talented. We need a new coach I couldn’t agree more we’re literally just a team of college coach’s. With a new coach and entirely new coaching staff I’m still interested and optimistic in what this squad can produce.

I understand that point but have you seen what people have been posting? Rhule needs to be fired obviously. But to say everything about this team sucks is with zero doubt an overreaction. I know we’re all upset here but let’s not get ahead of ourselves.

We will agree to disagree then. It all starts at the top and has a trickle down effect. Putting continued blind faith into a regime that has made us take steps backwards and cost us draft capital in the process is why it's all a disaster.

Not only that, but I will knife fight you in a dojo about our QB situation. Sam Darnold is ass. Will always be ass. No OL is going to change him from being ass. A decent OL doesn't stop you from crying on the sidelines when you throw an interception duck.

    • Yeah and he succeeded at an even higher level in LA with an even better surrounding cast. Goff is a guy that isn't really able to dramatically elevate players around him but he can make a good situation even better. He is capable of that. Some QB's aren't. I am not sure Dak is able to do that and he is in a similar "class" as Goff, IMO.
    • i think i could handle that for a year. beyond that....i don't know.  back where we lived, when we had a few inches of snow, it might have been a couple feet because we weren't getting out and doing anything. i remember times where power would go out for days on end. we had propane and electric heat, depending on the floor. basement (had a couple bedrooms and a living room and kitchen down there) and main floor had gas logs. main floor gas logs was enough to take care of the upstairs, so we could stay warm and cook on the grill when we needed. we had a well so that was always an issue when the power went out. had to make sure tubs were filled with water for the toilets and we had gallons of water for drinking and cooking available. always had to make sure we were ready. that wasn't always the case. we had a couple moments where we were going through propane quickly and because we were dealing with the worst propane company in the world (amerigas) they wouldn't get out to put gas in our 900 gallon tank. made for some nerve racking moments.  i know y'all were probably a lot more able to handle that kind of thing, but after the little bit (comparatively) that we got here i just have no desire to get trapped again. maybe for a day or two a year get snowed in and i'm good.
    • I think he is just drawing a DC to them line and that's about as far as his thought process went. It makes almost no sense outside of that. Also, it doesn't make sense for Pittsburgh or Seattle at this juncture either.  I think our "veteran" pool is basically gonna be the Dalton/Flacco tier or the "pick your poison" options of young busts(Jones/Z. Wilson) or wild, TO prone gunslingers(Darnold/Winston/etc). We have the option to pursue I genuinely believe(depending on the way the rest of this season goes), we either draft a QB in the top 10 or resign Dalton. Outlier third option on taking one of the wild gunslingers that Dave feels like he can work with.
