They are a team ready to compete in a new facility, huge fanbase and the ability to draw star players (except for A. Brown I guess). And it wouldn't be the first time a coach was able to pick up the leavings of Jon Gruden and make a big splash right away.

Gonna be a tough sell for any potential incoming coach when we are competing with:

Raiders-already competitive team with a stable Qb situation. Leader and some pieces away. 
 

Bears- young first Round talent a QB on a Rookie deal with pieces on both offense and defense. 
 

Jags- generational talent at Qb with better draft assets. 
 

then throw in possibles 

Seattle- new coach could make a pitch to keep Russ

minn- stable QB situation with solid pieces on offense 

 

every single situation is better IMO with our lack of draft assets and Sam being the only QB under contract next season

So the way the twittersphere reads tonight…Jacksonville just limited their pool of candidates with the keeping of Their current GM. I follow a number of Jag fans in Twitter because they are fun follows and they are pissed 

Ben Allbright even stated that this action will keep coaches away from Jacksonville.

I wouldn’t go this far…. Cousins is due almost 30% of their total cap next year. He is most likely gone.  Stable is the last thing I’d call. The Vikings QB situation.

Hahahahahaha! The Jags are such a joke. Khan has no clue what he is doing and no football background at all. They keep a GM who stinks and then hire a college coach who so clearly was in over his head he made the team a sideshow. Hahahahaha! What a dumpster fire of a franchise!
