What if Rhule hires NFL Coordinators and positions coaches?

Doing so would decentralise “the approach”, as the two coordinators would want to bring in their systems and methodologies.

Imo the hive mind needs to reside in the HC and so bringing in experienced guys to take over these would render Rhule redundant.

May as well just let him go as it’s not like he makes sound personnel decisions or roster building

Would you be ok with him staying then?

So, in other words, what if he surrenders all of his control over this team? Cuz NFL professionals with any proven coaching talent aint coming here to “ implement better” his rinky-dink college bull-poo.

In other words, this could never happen. And if it DID, where’s the benefit of keeping Fat Fhule in that equation anyway?

Rhule is a control freak.  Bringing in NFL caliber coaches would undermine his greatness.  Not only is he not a good coach but he's terrible at developing players and IMO it's because the majority of his staff, mostly college coaches, don't know how to develop NFL caliber players.

At minimum, I would like to see an entire new staff for the offense.  Especially an O-line coach.  If i were Tepper and Fitterer I would find the best offensive line guru and bring him here.  Or at least one of their protégés.

Rhule's not going to do that.  Many have joked but I believe he will only bring in coaches that are "Yes" men to Rhule.  And the only ones that will be are the ones that he worked with at Temple and Baylor.

    • Right? I mean if that’s not the biggest indictment on how shitty Bryce is.
    • I don't agree it's "much better." Bryce has been absolutely god awful, but the D has also allowed the most points in the league and as bad as Bryce is there has not been a single bright spot from the offense around him. OL is yet to be seen, yes I saw the stat on pressures but it paints an incomplete picture considering Bryce panic checkdowns so quickly. I'm not sold on Canales' scheme yet either. We will know much more following Sunday's game with Dalton starting. This year's team might be better than last year, but I'm not convinced yet.
    • Of course he’s having regular meetings. We literally just benched our 2023 #1 overall pick. Canales was hired for the exact same reasons that we all wanted to see happen in 2024. Figure out if Young could ever be the guy. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to think they likely saw the same poo all the announcers and fans saw. I agree that is 99.999% likely that Canales walked into Tepper’s office this morning and said, yep Tep, it’s as bad as we thought last week. The kid ain’t it and we need to move on and decide what we’ve got on this team and Dan’s gotta jump on the scouts and figure out the next QB.
