Gman also proclaimed the Falcons defense was going to be better than ours this year because of Lawrence Sidbury who is dominating to the tune of one awesome solo tackle on the season. You have to consider the source.

Lol never said that ass clown or whatever your name is. I said that sidbury was a steal in the fourth round and that the panthers defense would probably be worse than atlantas. Never claimed their defense would be great or that sidbury would be dominant

Dude, aren't you one of the assholes that swore up and down that we blitzed a lot in the first two games when in fact we blitzed a total of nine times? Yeah shut up! Lol! As of right now brown and goodson combined are not worth a first let alone a top ten pick. hopefully that will change. I doubt it though. Brown is too small to play a 3-4 DE and goodson can't hold onto the football plus he is a sh*tty return man

Actually it was about 9 blitzes in just one of those games we were arguing about, and the point was that Meeks is calling more blitzes here than he did at Indy, which is the truth. He never blitzed when he was coaching the Colts, and you're still a dumbass. Thank you and have a good day.

You still can't read.

It is way too early to tell what Brown (or Goodson) is going to be worth. When do first rounders, especially on defense, give you top production their first year in the league?

Your argument breaks down even further when the kid is playing behind the likes of Pep, Johnson and Brayton under the tutelage of a new DC that is trying to get his feet up under him as well.

You have to give the kid an opportunity. Unlike you, I see promise.

Basically all the time? That's what a first round pick is for. A player that's ready to make an immediate impact in the NFL. Unless you're taking a QB for the purpose of sitting him for a year or something, you expect your 1st round pick to step in and contribute immediately.

Anything less is basically a failure. If someone takes several years before he's ready, then you probably took him way too early.

Wrong again kid. I remember we had this debate before the dallas game. You said we blitzed a ton in the first two games and as ron jaworski pointed out we only blitzed nine times. I'm a dumbass yet I still know way more football than your whiny ass will ever know

God you're dumb. The argument was about whether Meeks was calling games the same way he did at Indy, which you stubbornly said that he was, when clearly he was not. I never said that he "blitzed a ton". And if you really know football, which I seriously doubt, then you should know that blitzing all the time is not always the way to go in the first place. Good QB's and good OC's know how to beat the blitz with draws, screens, and hitting their hot reads. Indeed, the Panthers defense has been burned quite a few times when they have blitzed, yet simple minded fans always think that blitzing more is the answer to every problem.

I never said blitzing all the time was smart and don't try to say that wasn't the argument. I said ron meeks rarely ever blitzed wether it was here or in indy and you said we blitzed a lot in the first two games which we didn't. The argument was that ron meeks has never been an agressive dc which you totally denied. And you're still a whiny ass little wuss. Waaaaah he isn't a homer! Waaaaaah he won't stop being realistic. Waaaaaaah! Lmao

    • You talk about keeping the shtshow alive and well in Pantherland just bring in Prime and Shedeur....
    • Elite QBs are made and need a team to work around them or you end up with a Phillip Rivers situation, at best.  Sometimes the QB is just the missing piece, or the QB finds the other factors that lift their game. You couldn't ask for a better example of both of those situations than looking at the Stafford/Goff trade between LA and Detroit. Send either of those two guys to Carolina or Cleveland and they just flop around on the turf near the 35 yard line, game after game. And as to the Texans and Commanders... those are two well coached and well-built teams. Massive turnarounds in each location, a lot of buy in by players and grabbing solid performers where they could. They got their QBs, but they also put them in the right environment. You claim I'm a 1990s football guy, I claim you're basing your evaluation more on Madden and fantasy football.
