What to hope for Sunday

Cam throws and interception in his two series...........Rhule pulls him and put in Darnold who proceeds to fumble the ball on his first snap from scrimmage.........which is recovered by the Bucs for 6 pts..

Next series Rhule puts in PJ who throws a pick 6 interception on his first series.............so Rhule puts Cam back in and the circus continues the whole game.

A shot by the TV camera into the owners suite late in the 4th quarter shows Tepper and his wife holding up a sign that says.......

"That's enough Rhule.......we want to see you in my office first thing Monday AM!"

The crowd breaks into singing the song originally recorded by the Mammas and Pappas "Monday, Monday"

That's what I hope for.........

Cam Erving is not a backup. Why would you want to keep that salary?

Cutting him saves us about what--$2m?  Cam has surrendered 3 sacks this year (not sure how many games) but he has not been the weak spot on the OL--sadly enough.  Cam can also play every position on the OL---he could save you a roster spot.

As much as I hate to say it I hope Tampa embarrasses us.  It is for the greater good.  Rhule has shown he not ready for the NFL.  I want Tepper so embarrassed that he cans Rhule before the clock hits zero.

If the Panthers were showing some sort of moving upward than I would understand keeping him for 2022.  We have only regressed to one of the worst teams in the league.

Might need to check that tape again. He has been AWFUL

No. We don't. He has been pretty consistently bad.

Whatever Jets version you are talking about is long gone. He's even a shell of that.

I hope you're right, foo.

For all our sakes.

We need our draft pick to be as high as possible to get the BPA (whomever it is).

The draft is oddly the least of our worries, IMO. If Rhule sticks around, it literally doesn't even matter where we draft. We will make the wrong choice.

Anything in the top 15 should IN THEORY land us a starting OL. But, I am sure we will do something stupid like draft Hamilton from ND or Jordan Davis from UGA(not trashing the players at all) which wouldn't move the needle for the team at all.

With Brown and Godwin out, they're now saying that Evans is out as well. The Bucs are without all 3 of their top WR's meaning they probably lean on the run game and Gronk.

I expect our defense to play well! However, with this staff I wouldn't be surprised if we are unprepared.

We are horrible against the run

and we may not even score

    • Yeah that with the Taylor Moton clip from yesterday...These guys have felt completely hamstrung the last two weeks
    • Our receivers were right there on the field, they also watched Bryce on film, and it sounds like they're looking forward to Dalton. Xavier Legette on Andy Dalton: "He got a fine understanding of things. I like the way he throws the ball and how to position it, so I feel like we going be good... On the go balls, he knows the right timing and the right among of air... The deep ball that's something I feel I'm good at, and that's something I been working on at practice [with Andy]... I ain't talked to him [Bryce] about it [the benching] yet, but we just got to continue to play. Next man up, and it's Andy."   Diontae Johnson on Andy Dalton: "A vet who's been back there for a while and knows the game, so once you have a guy like that back there, it allows you to be yourself more... He takes a lot off our plate just by having that experience knowing what to do, getting us the right calls, knowing when the pressure is coming..."
