So tepper brings him back and we start 0-4. Then he fires him and we have 13 games with a lame duck coach (Nixon or snow). I don’t get it. Just do it now instead of guaranteeing another wasted year.

The point was we are the laughing stock of the league from a players perspective. Getting a lot of rooks and picks won’t change that perception. Obviously no legit player wanted to come here this past off-season. That’s a problem. Even if we aren’t focusing on FA. The culture is broken. Rhule is toast. 
 

Even if we aren’t going all in, we should want to be a player destination. We aren’t in a canes scenario where we can only afford decent FA’s because of our surrounding talent. If we continue to pull bottom of the barrel players we will continue to get a mediocre reputation.

I hope they go 0-17 next year and Bryce Young stays in school. I wish nothing but the worst for this franchise as long as Rhule is the coach.

Well, Tepper already has a (albeit short) track record of hanging on to incompetent coaches as well as GMs too long, so there is that.
