Ad blockers are a wonderful thing!  The only bad thing is some sites detect it and a pop-up window asks you to disable it, lol!  Not on here though.

I haven't seen the ads in question, so I'm posing in this thread to see if they suddenly pop up.  I've had several occasions on a different forum where someone was talking about something in a thread I posted in...and suddenly I got an ad for it.  One time it was a dude that had to bury his dad, and he was posting about the suit he chose to wear.  He posted a picture of it and gave details of the brand and what he paid, etc.  I just posted something like "sorry for your loss.  dope suit though" and next thing you know I'm getting ads for a brand of suit I'd never even heard of before that thread.

Yea this blows. Scrolling thru on my phone and can’t get rid of the McDonald’s adds. They are embedded into the page. Can’t just X out of it. They cover posts and topics. My pop up blocker is on. Maybe I’m an idiot, but I have no idea how to avoid this crap.

I have 2 ads for a lesbian comedian so im not sure what that says about me
