WTF IS GOING ON?!?! Gilmore informed he was listed on the injury report, even though he didn't know he was and says he feels good.

From the other end of the spectrum, what if the Panthers are falsifying the injury report in a way that provides them with a leg up on the competition.

I.E. they list Gilmore as questionable throughout the entire week and then he plays on Sunday… but knowing that Gilmore was questionable coming in, the Bucs try to target him and see how “healthy”’ he is… when in reality, Gilmore is perfectly fine.

I’d imagine that you can’t do that.

The Pats do it all the time.

For those that are saying Gilmore might have a little something with his knee...and he might have been scaled back in practice...that combo would make the injury report correct.  And if Gilmore wasn't listed like that and couldn't play or left the game due to injury, the Panthers could get in trouble.  I remember several specific situations where it happened to other teams.  If the guy did not fully participate, you have to disclose it or you could get into trouble.  And if the guy has some kind of ailment, particularly while also scaling back in practice...even if its not directly related to why he took reps off...the team could get into trouble.

To take a step back that tweet does not imply Gilmore didn't have some kind of knee pain or that he didn't take it easy in practice, but it does imply our coaches don't communicate poo to players at all. Not surprising given it took Rhule half a season to talk to his fuging starting QB.

I just shared the tweet for a verified source, but I was really sharing this based off of the video clip Cat Crave shared - it's much more telling.  He is asked about it and appears completely taken aback.  His reaction to the question would indicate he was not injured at all.

Ahh. Hopefully someone asks Rhule about it next press conference. Very weird for sure, although I'm already so used to Rhule bumbling everything I wouldn't be surprised if he listed the wrong player or some crap

Came to post this after seeing it posted by Cat Crave, and it was posted by ncfan in the Rhule presser thread as well, but I thought it deserved it's own thread.  Wtf is going on here?

How do you list a player on the injury report who doesn't know they're injured, feels good, and has no idea where that designation came from or why?

Perhaps them trying to set things up to sit him the last 3 games?

Did the same thing to McCaffrey the last two years
