Nor his identification and selection. Zero interest in the staff that wanted Teddy and Darnold drafting a QB.

I feel the same about the Oline. These guys gave us Elf and Erving along with two rookies that can't see the field or is playing out of position if he even gets to play.

He did us a huge favor. Unfortunately, this is just further evidence that Tepper is incompetent.

Absolutely no doubt trading for Watson would have been terrible.  If Tepper wants to win he needs to step off and let the coaches and GM make these decisions.  Michael Jordan calling the shots for the Hornets is a prime example.  When he let a respected GM make the decisions the franchise pointed up immediately

If Tepper is seriously meddling with personnel decisions we are in big trouble

Do not want Deshaun "Happy Ending" Watson.  He will be way more of a distraction than he is worth. His salary sucks too and the price for him seemed so high I wouldn't have wanted him even if he had a squeaky clean life. While I'm on the subject how is it that for years Cam got do much poo from so many yet never did anything criminally wrong since he has been in the NFL yet Watson can allegedly somehow be the a serial sex offender and get no more crap than Cam got? I don't get it? All that damn money and pull yet the dude can't go score some ass at a bar like everyone else does? Speaks volumes of his intelligence. Screw that, I wouldn't want that moron leading our team.

The Panthers would have traded for Watson without a civil settlement. However, Watson decided not to waive his no-trade clause for a ticket to Carolina.

...complain about rhule all you want but this line above will tell you tell you all you need to know how fuged up this org is... matriculate your bitching above rhule...where it belongs.... its going to be a long time to respectability as a team.

Relax, he's not meddling...

...the guy with 461,788 posts has repeatedly assured us that his "insider" sources have guaranteed him that Tepper leaves these decisions to "the football people "... 🙌

At this point, I'm not even thinking in terms of Watson ever coming here, so I don't care of this story is true or a lie. Maybe Miami finally gets their man. If they do and Tua we're to become available, I'd consider him. Tua has been showing signs that he is legit, just like I thought he would if given a legit opportunity.

    • The other draft picks have turned out pretty well. Brooks will too.
    • I'm still not touching Hunter He again said the other day that he plans on playing both sides of the ball in the NFL.  If he is allowed to do that, he won't be as good on either side as his potential and he's going to have serious injury issues and have a short career.  If he's not allowed to do it, I think he's going to become a problem when the team isn't winning as he's going to feel him not being used on both sides of the ball is why. He's being coddled in that environment with Deion and I think it's doing a disservice to him to prepare him for life in the NFL where your coach isn't a 2nd father to you, to where you can just walk into his locker room and steal his shoes like Hunter does to Deion.
    • He’s a tad behind them. Around 15ish of 32 starters in the league. He’s well ahead of a lot of guys. Tua, Bryce, Cousins (present), Rodgers (current), Devito/Jones, Minshew, Russ (current), Watson, Smith, Carr, T Laws deep ball is weak as poo IMO, there’s plenty. And it’s not like everyone is ripping 60+ers. The key component is if you can rip and maintain velocity of the 30-40 yarders which he does super well. Legit every report out there from Brugler to PFF to PFN document him as good/above average arm strength.  Eye test tells me it’s pretty much that as well, slightly above average.
