Pay the man. He is produces and is a great piece to build around.

There are guys under contract we can ditch to create cap space. Erving, Elf, Darnold and Anderson would be easy targets. We have 2 June 1st designations we can use and creative cap contracts.

Keep Reddick...if he wants to come back here at all thst is.

You assume he wants to stay here. Maybe doesn't want to stick it out with this sh%t show. If he is looking to play on a contender now and not fug around with this mess anymore....this probably isn't the best choice.

I'd still let him go since I wouldn't pay big money to a smaller guy that can just rush the passer.

Agree, 10.5 sacks but can't stop the run. No thanks. We need to get back to ygm sized guys.  Reddick is too small to stop the run and not fast enough to be a coverage lb.

If this is the new argument then we need to just switch gears and put all our resources in the offense bc even with a whole draft and back to back first round picks the defense is still a mess. Also kick the tires on potential trades no one should be off limits.

    • The book isn’t finished on Daniel Jones by any means but I don’t think we see him become the player even Sam Darnold has become. He could be a good backup in the right situation. The Rams seem like a good option to let him sit and learn with McVay.
    • I’ve seen Jones make throws Bryce could never dream of making. On the flip side I’ve seen Jones also make mistakes Bryce has never made. I think Jones might be available for a few weeks waiting for the right opportunity, but being the backup to Bryce with a shot to win the job next season is probably his best chance at another starting job, and in his home town. It’s a low risk move honestly, and he could replace Dalton as he backup. Shouldn’t stop the Panthers from drafting someone in the offseason though, even if they signed him.
