If Rhule wants another shot he’s really gonna have to evaluate his staff and cut ties with Baylor folks

He honestly needs to hire Doug Pedersen in a OC Ass/HC spot.

I have a really tough time picturing either of those things happening.

If Rhule is still head coach next year, I'm guessing Jeff Nixon remains the OC.

Rhule is convinced next year will be his big successful year with the Panthers because it is year 3. And year 3 is when he was successful with Baylor and Temple…LOL. Apples and oranges comparing a college program to the NFL. Plus if I am not mistaken he never sustained that success In college because he bolted in year 4.

Article by Darren Newtown at ESPN. Some Gems:

Guys, if we stop the turnovers, it fixes the offensive line, our run defense, our offensive play calling, and special teams coverage.

It's that simple guys.

Meanwhile Baltimore is 4-0 when they throw two or more interceptions.

The fact Rhule is defaulting to a finite issue tells you everything you need to know.

The next hump is that Rhule is a coach the media pined over so they’re assuming he’s got some vision or something being outsiders.

We’ve got a culture of nothing. No identify, no vision for the type of offense we want. Power run my ass.

We don’t even have a power running back because they let Davis go to Atlanta.

What you see within this article is the basic framework of the argument Rhule will be using to explain to David Tepper why he should keep his job.

Mind you, this assumes Tepper is even asking that question.

He should be, but I don't know if he is or will.

No way can Dave Tepper be foolish enough to fall for Rhule's Snake Oil Salesman pitch (twice).

Twenty First Century Snake Oil Salesman

Can he?

    • See where you draft, see if there is an option. If not, get a Dalton/Flacco PREVIOUSLY SUCCESSFUL veteran to be acceptably mediocre. If you want to gamble on fool's gold(all of the other busts you listed) that's fine, if you take that option first. Outside that, you are just dooming the franchise, the coach, probably the GM, all of our developing young talent and ABSOLUTELY the fans to watching another rebuild start in the 2026 offseason.  I really am perplexed by the need to chase massively unsuccessful guys when two of the guys you claimed to be worthwhile failed dramatically here(Dalton, Mayfield).  There is no secret solution to suddenly not being a dumpster fire. Understand that no matter what goes on in the entirety of the 2025 offseason, we will be a bad team that loses plenty of games. This ain't a quick fix. And Daniel Jones is not the kind of player that is going to do well going from one dumpster fire to the next.  If you like the Dalton and Mayfield examples, where did they go in between? A highly successful franchise that didn't need them to do poo but chill on the bench and get their heads right. We are 180 degrees opposite of that. It's just another recipe for wild failure.
    • Nah we will be passing a majority of the game. We will be playing catch up for most of the game. 3 of those carries come in blowout duty.
    • If you wanted Danny Dimes here, you are the reason this franchise has gone downhill.   The fact that this is even a topic is pathetic. This dude is trash he couldn't even beat Bryce Young. So why would we entertain this?
