It’s a beautiful Sunday. My advice is, if you have something better to do today, do it.

It is a beautiful day where I’m at in the world today so a friend and I are going to a local golf course and hitting the driving range and hoping they can slip us on for a round today.

Is it a beautiful day where you are? Get outside and go for a walk! There’s probably a park near you, have you ever been there?

What about spending some time with the family or a friend you haven’t seen in awhile? Give them a call and see what they’re doing today. It’s the holiday season, a great time to reconnect with people whom you might have lost touch.

If the weather isn’t great, maybe you can lift some weights or do some stretches. Get a workout in and get the blood pumping! Maybe learn how to cook that new dish you r been wanting to make.

There’s just too many better ways to spend time than sitting on the couch watching losers lose.

And if you don’t have anything better to do and plan on watching the game, I hope the team does what you want them to do. Because at this point I don’t really care if they win or lose.

Yea I’m snowed in, can’t go anywhere and forgot to get grocers so I have oatmeal and beer. Perfect storm to wallow in misery and watch this poo.

What's your oatmeal recipe?  I've been making mine with  milk and vanilla extract. Then bananas with almond and pecan shavings, light drizzle of honey. Good poo.

Yeah, tomorrow is promised to no one.  Follow the OP's advice and make the most of today!

Fortunately, finding something/anything more enjoyable that watching this poor excuse for a NFL team should be a low bar to clear for just about all of us.

For instance, I plan on impaling my eyes with two red hot pokers.  Granted, it likely won't be much fun, and it might not be much of an improvement over another Sunday of Panthers football, but I know I'll never have to watch Matt Rhule on the sidelines again.  So I've got that going for me, which is nice.

The highs aren't nearly as sweet without experiencing the lows. I managed to watch every snap of 2010, this is a piece of cake.

I asked for game tickets for my birthday that year… first time in history someone asked for torture as a present

    • I forgot about Jackson...definitely elite.  The sad part of your list is that 2 of them were 'there for the taking for the Panthers'.  Rumor has it that Hurney loved Herbert and was vetoed on trying to trade up.  And rumor has it that Frank & McCown wanted Stroud.  I believe both rumors.
    • I went on a solo elk hunt in the Flat Tops. It was awesomely miserable. LOL It was a late season hunt, I think third season and it was forecasted to snap off cold with highs in the upper thirties and lows in the single digits. fug it, I'm going anyway. They were wrong. The highs were in the low 20s and the lows were in the negative teens. I shivered so hard the first night I thought my teeth were going to break. It was the only time I've ever been legit concerned that I might be in trouble. Crawled out of my sleeping bag and got a fire started and suffered through the night bundled up next to the fire. I slept the next two nights literally wearing every stitch of clothing I'd brought with Nalgenes full of near boiling water in the bottom of my sleeping bag. That was the only way to have non-frozen water in the morning anyway. There was about a foot of snow on the ground and the melt/freeze crust was almost enough to support your weight but you'd go crashing through just as you went or make your step. It was exhausting travel and every step sounded like a rifle shot. Hunting was basically impossible. I never saw an elk in those four days, only saw 5-6 deer. LOL It was brutal but I loved it. Absolutely beautiful country that is never been to before and haven't been back since. I needed that four day complete break from society fighting for my life against the elements. I'm weird like that.
    • The lack of production is especially surprising given how much effort the team put into coaxing the best from him.  In just six short years he’s had the opportunity to work with 3 different GMs, 7 different head coaches and 10 different starting quarterbacks.  There’s literally no excuse to be made that one of those combos didn’t work.  It might be time to look withIAN.
