I have a season win total bet against the Falcons and Raiders. If not for those bets, I wouldn’t give a damn.

Also, I just love football. I usually have 8-10 buddies over every Sunday with 4 tvs set up. Out of my entire group of friends, I’m the only Panthers fan. There’s Falcons, Vikings, Eagles and Raiders fans here every Sunday. Keeps it fun.

I'd like to get a look at the rookie OL.  Still wish they would throw Marshall and Shi out there more too and let him have some of Robby's work.  I don't care if Robby and Cam are friendly.  And CJ Henderson.   That's about it.   Throw the young guys all out there.

That's not going to happen because Rhule is fighting for his job.

Has anyone been able to determine if the players have quit on Ruhle? I think we should be able to tell in the last 5 games. As a fan he is extremely uninspiring.

I think they have honestly. But I wouldn’t classify it as he’s overtly lost them yet. Just that they are as apathetic as the fan base is.

If and when we get eliminated from the playoffs it’s gonna get ugly.

For me, it's knowing that I can't change a thing that happens between those lines. I just watch and cheer when something good happens.

We only get 17 games per year to watch. I just try to enjoy each one. I've experienced 15-1, 15-1 and everything in between. Hope for a win every week regardless of the opponent and  try to enjoy the good moments, games and season.

Panthers have been around for over two decades, not once have we had consecutive winning seasons. The original owner was an “NFL” man who refused to put our logo at midfield and demanded we keep aging vets around because he liked them. And oh yeh, he was a bit of a pervert.

Now we have Dave Tepper, worth over 14 billion and a former minority partner with the Steelers. In a very short time he has fired multiple employees and replaced some with upgrades, others not so much. He hired Matt Rhule who proceeded to surround himself with people he “felt comfortable” with which means a bunch of college guys. We had a promising first season, but now are getting blown out by cellar dwellers.

Dave Tepper wants his stadium full of rabid money spending fans, and as fans we want something to go crazy over. Until that happens he can expect more of what he’s seeing right now.

You nailed it.

The Panthers are going on 26 years in the league. The excuse that we're the new kids on the block and haven't been around long enough to have TEAM identity, culture and traditions are no longer valid. The premise that Panthers fans don't really know or understand football and are just happy to have a team are not true. We, Panther fans, are currently and have been historically loyal and supportive of this team. After all, it was the FANS that ponied up the money to build the stadium before we were even awarded a franchise. David Tepper cannot be and should not be held responsible for organizational success or failures prior to his ownership. David Tepper will be and should be held 100% responsible for his success and failure during his tenure.  Mr. Tepper has made it very clear that he wants a new Dome Stadium and will require public money to build.  The fan base, which has now matured over last 26 years has expectations, we are no longer just happy to have a team. Fans want a team to be excited about and proud of, to be relevant. Is that too much to ask? This fan base understands you can't win them all and there will certainly be ups and downs. What Panther fans have grown frustrated by is the sense of no direction, no foundation, nothing but talk of tomorrow and we all know tomorrow never comes. If Mr. Tepper wants his new stadium he needs to understand his customers demand a quality product. This fan base is second to none, remember 2015 NFC Championship game? wholly smokes what an incredible environment. That's what happens when this fan bases energy and organizational performance is in alignment. Bottom line, the Panthers need to make the necessary changes, whatever they may be, to live up to their end of the bargain. Panther fans are here, eager, LOYAL AND WAITING!

    • Agreed. A healthy bit from column A (stats) and column B (film) paints the most accurate picture, which is currently that Bryce is not performing up to the standard a 1st round QB (let alone drafted #1 overall) is expected to (statistically). When we dig into the film to see why, we see that while he's having his struggles (not stepping up in the pocket, bailing out early, hesitating on some throws, making occasional bad reads, etc) the team that surrounded him last season was simply awful. Bottom 5 defense, bottom 5 OL, bottom 5 weapons... but somehow one player has to overcome ALL of that in their rookie season? Yeesh... Taking this season into consideration, he started where he left off last season and was rightfully benched. Since starting again, the team has gotten on its first winning streak in a few years and he's made good plays to keep them in the game. Is he lighting it up? Nah... but he is beginning to show the reason so many draftniks had him as QB1a for his class. Re: what the team does next season... who friggin knows anymore at this point T_T. Resign Dalton? Sign Jones? Draft somebody in the mid-to-late rounds? Go with another UFA? Maybe grab an FA that can compete with Bryce for the starting position and draft a rookie to sit and develop? Might be best of both worlds for the team, but ugh... not a fun position to still be in with question marks throughout the position group.
    • Yeah, this is basically the same as asking, "What if Bryce Young suddenly had Patrick Mahomes brain, how would he do?" It isn't happening. This ship is beyond sailed. Send him somewhere else, let us move on and him move on.
    • Dalton is too close to starting right now. If it hadn't been for a car accident, he still would be. Switching Dalton for Jones does nothing except reduce the backup's age by a decade. One is in his NFL prime, the other is almost in his NFL grave. Not a horrible move if you're trying to improve the team. We've got to get better as a team and a lateral move like that would improve the team. The problem isn't that he's close to starting. The problem is we have a GM that signed off on BY and didn't bring in any serious QB competition for camp, a HC that said yeah, he's my guy until BY poo the bed so bad he couldn't start him, and an offense that's limited because BY can't make all the throws a normal NFL QB can.  The problem isn't that Jones could be an improvement as a backup QB. The problem is he could be better than our "franchise" QB.
