Cutting cam and trotting out bridgewater and the worst starting qb is where a lot of the over the top hate comes from. It’s not just that but that we signed one to a big contract and traded a high pick and a 5th year option pick up for the other.

we suck this year, we’re missing a 2nd and a 3rd for the upcoming draft and Darnold is getting paid 18 million for next year. And the qb class has been deemed not good by many on here for a front half 1st round pick. We don’t have picks in the 2nd or 3rd for olineman. It just feels more hopeless than after Rivera’s first two seasons.  Next year feels like it’ll be the same situation. And we haven’t had a winning season in a bunch of years. All  of that adds to the hate and frustration.

Rivera was a well regarded/proven player/NFL DC prior to becoming the Panthers HC.

Rhule is a coach who took over a couple of failed mid-tier college programs.  He made both competitive prior to jumping ship after three seasons.  Matt  then demanded total control at the pro level.

Rivera's resume was much more robust IMHO.  Even so, JR was ready to fire him if not for Hurney taking the fall instead.

I don't think it is as bad as you are making it out to be. Head coaches of other franchises have had it much worse look at the Lions or Browns. As for Rivera some people hated that man with a passion and we aren't even close to that with Rhule. Ease up on the hyperbole.

I'm not sure it's as much about football or the situation as it is with people generally being more angry online and wanting a pat on the back for supporting the mob.

It's the same as it's ever been. When you're on a losing streak and getting blown out regularly all there is to talk about is negativity. Folks like you acting like this just started recently are either trolling or just confused.

    • been living in town since March of last year after spending 15+ years out on a farm in the middle of nowhere.  Snow was beautiful out there, but always meant a lot of work dealing with the long driveway and long dirt road out and onto paved roads that were the last in the county to get plowed. On normal days it always took 20 minutes to get anywhere. when it snowed...yeah. forget about it for a couple days. still had to go to work, so i'd have to drive on all these narrow and windy snow covered backroads after dealing with my driveway and putting up with the nasty red mud slush on the dirt road. if there was an emergency or some kind of urgent issue that required you having someone drive in or going out, it was just a major stressor.  anyways, i'm just looking forward to snow in the new house in town, where my driveway is really short and the roads are plowed. i want snow that requires no work or stress on me. most people probably love the idea of being snowed in out in the country. been there. done that. i'm looking forward to snow coming in town and being able to get out and about if i need. hopefully we have some this year.
    • I don't think it will be a complete stomping at all. That's not really the 2024 KC team. They have only scored 30 points once this season(shootout versus TB) and their biggest margin of victory has been 13(vs. the Saints). I guess they clearly show better versus the NFC South but not THAT good. Not by their recent years standard.
