Not that hard-

Cam is injury-prone.

OL is in the bottom 10% in everything.

New play-caller and Rhule wants to run the ball.

Cam gets hurt at some point soon.

Your sliver sam is ready to come off IR

Its that easy.

Side note- My personal feel is Rhule wants Cam to fail and Rhule to still save his panther peeks(somehow).... Watch for this in the coming weeks....

Start Cam, let him have his fun when/if he has a good game, let the fans have their fun when/if that happens. Start fresh next season with Sam as the backup, Cam and PJ gone, and lord knows who has our starter as we once again have a losing season.

we know who cam is then and now. only reason to keep playing him is for feel good stories at this point.

no. panthers can still win the division, playing cam despite him playing a bad game is not cool especially if you wanna win. only other team to worry about in the nfc is the bucs. and they are beatable.

deonte brown just got activated. brown and christensen on the left, eflein on center, moton and jordan on the right. thats not an entirely bad o line. not good, but just good enough to win.

Obviously Cam. One poor game where no one on the team was helping him at all doesn’t negate the game + 8 plays before that where he showed he’s still good.

Then is irrelevant.

Who he is now is relevant, and unclear.  Is Cam the guy who went 21 of 27 and 2 TD's?  Is he the guy who 5 of 21 with 2 INT's?  I don't know.  Neither does anyone else.  It's no different than Darnold after the Eagles game.  Do you assume that the Eagles game defined him?  No.  Of course not.  One game doesn't define any player.

Thus, the reason to keep playing him is to reveal the truth of what he can be right now.  Has nothing to do with feel good stories, has everything to do with sorting out what we do next year.

Erving is healthy again (for now). He is at least some what serviceable when he is healthy. Erving, BC, Elf, Brown, Moton could work too. It also keeps a couple vets around the rookies. You can switch BC and Erving if BC looks better at LT.
