Maybe, but from the looks of it, he was more qualified than Brady.  And with actual real NFL experience under Andy Reid.

Nixon was not named OC, the Panthers only said that he would act in that capacity over the final five games.  I'm still hoping we go after an actual NFL OC this offseason.

This is correct.

That said, I don't have a whole lot of faith in Matt Rhule on that front.

Perhaps.  But I've got to believe that another season of offensive incompetence like we've witnessed this year will end with Rhule being ousted.  Now, I'm not keen to wait another year to see this happen, but at least we know he's feeling pressure now.

Sean McVay actually worked his way up into his OC role. I’m dumbfounded how this group of buffoons looked at Joe Brady’s resume and trusted him with an NFL offense.

I Think Brady was the scape goat for a head coach in a bad position with plenty of flaws and a situation not totally his fault. Your asking him to make magic with line that is giving no Qb time to go through reads. a rookie RB half the time because the star all world Hb is always injuired with Sam Darnold.
