How good would we be with a QB???

Bullpoo we would have. All we did was run the ball that game and we were becoming way too predictable. That game was not on Deangelo. ******* piss scared baby poo QB protective play calling cost us the game.

If the Saints can go 10-0 with a good QB so can we.

So when we pass too much, it costs us the game. When we don't pass enough, it costs us the game.

The run-heavy gameplan we used against the Saints gives us the best chance to win. Yes, in most cases you've got to have at least some semblance of a passing game to win in this league, but obviously that's not working for us.

Which is why it doesn't work. And the reason it seems like when we pass a lot we lose is because our runs are getting stuffed, particularly on 2nd and 3rd down. So basically we end up having to pass the ball, which for some people here it seems like that is just asking way too much of Jake Delhomme.

Bullshit we would have.

Nope. You can look at other teams that have better QB than Jake along with some good offense. I didn't see Vikings or Cardinals accomplish that.

That game was not on Deangelo.

But who fumble that ball? DeAngelo. When a player has the ball in his hands, it his responibilty to protect it. I love DeAngelo & all, but he deserve the blame on that fumble along with some on Jake & Fox/Davidson.

So Fox & Davidson don't deserve some of the blame beside Jake? After all, coaches sometime tell the players what to do.

If the Saints can go 10-0 with a good QB so can we.

So how come Cardinals, Patriots, etc. didn't go 10-0 this year? There you go. Even if we has the best QB, there is no knowing for sure we could go 10-0. But for some reason you act like you're so sure we could like it's a fact, when that is not possible. Remeber Fox & Davidson? Even with the best QB on the team, we still wouldn't be 10-0 with the same game plan by those 2 here.

In some cases, you're right. The Panthers have had games where they've run all over the other team, but couldn't run for the first down or the score.

But overall, this team passes way more than it should, and the Miami game was emblematic of that.

I know we wouldn't have won. Just because we were racking up rushing yards throughout the game doesn't mean were able to get the yards when we needed to. Like the Miami game, and like the Saints game before it our runs were getting stuffed at crucial points in the game in the 3rd and 4th qtr.

But who fumble that ball? DeAngelo. When a player has the ball in his hands, it his responibilty to protect it. I love DeAngelo & all, but he deserve the blame on that fumble along with some on Jake & Fox/Davidson.

He can hardly be blamed for losing that game. He was one of the reasons we were in it to begin with. Not to mention we shouldn't have been in that position in the first place. Those candyass 3 and outs we had before that possesion cost us the game, and really has cost us the season.

So Fox & Davidson don't deserve some of the blame beside Jake? After all, coaches sometime tell the players what to do.

Of course they do, but they can't be blamed for calling pass plays when the time is necessary. It's not possible to just run the ball all game which we did against the Saints and win. It's Jakes shitty play that creates protective play calling. Is it Fox's fault for not anticipating this? Or at least have another guy compete for the job? Sure it is.

Jake is one of the weakest players on offense at the most important position. It's like we are asking everyone else to go above and beyond while Jake continues to play at a below average level. At some point your QB has to able to make plays and be able absorb some of the weaknesses of the offense and lead them to a score.

The Cardinals are overrated and the Patriots are very strong team, 2 of their losses were by 3 points.

Ok maybe we wouldn't be 10-0 but 9-1, 8-2 it would be in the realm of possibility.

The Eagles game was the only game I thought we were truly outclassed in.
