I've actually been interested in Case Keenum, but from what I understand, he is just another Texas Tech-type QB. Granted, I don't know what offense Houston runs.

He's also projected not to come out until the 2011 draft. Also, Kevin Kolb went to Houston as well, and Keenum is putting up way better numbers than he did.

You have to look at can he make all the throws, can he read defenses and other intangibles. The college record books are filled with guys that put up ungodly numbers in college but NOTHING in the NFL. Don't be sold cause he kicks ass in College.

i think he is a hell of a lot better than people give him credit for, and he has gotten a bad wrap in CAROLINA.

Stats mean nothing. You can be a god in college football at the QB position and not even make it in the CFL. You have to have accuracy, arm strength, and leadership. I don't know this guy so I am not saying he doesn't have these intangiable but I am saying don't let stats lure you into believing he is the next coming of John Elway.

So Steve Smith isnt doing well because he has Jake over throwing him, but Jarrett's problem is Jarrett.

You guys are nuts. Jarrett has had some damn good catches. He had a bad game on Thurs, but i guess he doenst get that chance because he is dwayne jarrett.

Smith has SUCKED this season too- but no one is raging over him.

He does struggle to get open. Yeah Jake being our qb does hurt his chances to get the ball, but its happening to all our wide receivers.

Obviously, but when people say it's just the system, and an NFL caliber quarter back recently came from that school and put up worse numbers, I'd say blaming the system is dismissing him too fast.
