I’m going to get grilled for this…. But we should have hired Josh McDaniels

Cue all the Patriots fanboy stuff but watching what Bill B and Josh McDaniel doing up there in NE with a rookie QB, simply amazing

 

 even last year in a rebuild year with Cam they fielded a competitive team

 

 you can call them cheaters, you can insult me, but you’d do anything to have 50% off the results that Bill B and Co deliver

 

 I know we interviewed McDaniels two years ago, I suspect he wanted certain things that Tepper wouldn’t give or he saw this team and didn’t like what we had for him to work with. I also suspect that McDaniels knows the Patriots job is his when Belichick retires

 

 If this franchise is going to get back on track then someone of that level of preparedness like a McDaniels or Bienemy is what we’d need.

Sometimes people are just really good OCs. Last time McDaniels was a head coach he looked a lot like Rhule.

Possible I mean but Bill Belichick actually had the Browns playing better than usual. He also got lucky and drafted Tom Brady too.

McCarthy is actually terrible. That team wins in spite of him. I would love to hire his OC though.

I mean.....consider who we are comparing him to, though. He's infinitely better than Rhule.

Dallas also had a very good oline.  Good rbs. Franchise QB   Decent defense

The Panthers have none  of those things 

but I can almost guarantee the McCarthy understands you have to have a LT and a QB well before another DT or Cb

I still don't believe in McCarthy either but I know he's better than Matt Rhule.

Applies to a lot of NFL head coaches.

You never know, it could apply to guys like Rhule or Brady eventually too. It just obviously isn't in this stop.
