It was bad.  Brady is bad.  Rhule is bad.  It's just a messy mess of a mess.

It appears we have some decent foundational pieces but need to start from scratch at the least on offense.

Time to find a new HC, QB, and a few things more.

If I counted correctly, Cam was 1-8 on 3rd down passes today.  The one was the 64-yard pass to Moore who was wide open on a blown assignment.  Also, one miss was an INT.  You can't be that off on 3rd down.

Nothing on our offense is good right now. Cam included. Cam as a pro QB should be able to adjust to what defenses throw at him, he did none of that today and looked absolutely awful. Our offense line did not help, but a franchise QB overcomes things like that. It is time to face the reality of these things, Cam is no longer a franchise QB, we need to fix our o-line, we need to move on from our OC, we need to find better receivers, and we need a physical force at tight end.

Adjust to what? How tf do you as a QB adjust on the fly? Draw routes in the dirt? How do you get the right protection calls when you randomly "adjust"?Why didn't Rhule and Brady adjust if it's that easy? You people have a Cam obsession.

This.

I believe the wheels have fallen off.  Now I'm just waiting on the car to catch fire and burn to the ground.

We will know after the bye. They will try and rally but i have seen nothing to lead me to belive they have the skill to pull it off.

I’m starting to wonder if anyone watches the games or just tune into to Twitter for football takes.

in those 10 starts Newton posted good numbers in majority of those losses, we gotta quit acting like it’s all on Cam.

If he plays good we lose, if he plays bad we lose, idk why the defense is playing like trash lately but when we start losing games because of Cam’s direct play then talk to me

It's bias and agenda pushing.

I bet you never accused Delhomme of not being a pocket passer or not reading the field after costing this team two years of the most talented roster this franchise ever fielded .

Probably not, because those weren’t really high up on the list of Delhomme deficiencies.

I think it’s pretty unarguable that Cam in his pomp was head and shoulders about Jake. But the current version of Cam, without his old physical dominance / rushing prowess, can’t cut it anymore. Even at the absolute peak of his powers, he was never a placement + great reads guy (he was a generational athlete and competitor) and the league is demanding those skills more than ever.

He literally got signed a couple weeks after getting vaccinated lol

and it’s been 3 games………he’s got 6tds and 2ints…..

The first bad game after being on the team for a whooping 17 days he’s back to being lunch meat lol

Hmmmm…..funny thing, so many were convinced this team was all of a sudden a playoff contender a few weeks ago, Now it’s “it’s been 3 games”.  This team is not a playoff caliber team, Cam was never the answer to making it one. Some are living in 2015 and Cam is not even 50% of that QB from 2015.  This franchise from the top down is grasping at straws in hopes they find the one without a slit in the side.

His vaxxed status played a bigger role then Mac Jones lol, this is what I’m talking about,  leaving out key info. He went 7-8 last year with that trash pats roster and you said he played like trash 90% of the time, it’s asinine

Earlier this year Belichick, the NFL's winningest active Head Coach, chose to retain Cam for a second season.  The Patriots must have seen something positive in Cam.  Yeah, he isn't what he once was (who is?) but he's not "done" either.  Did Cam have a bad day at the office?  Sure, it happens.  If you're the new guy still learning his way around, have a lousy boss and a lot of underperforming coworkers, chances are you are going to have some bad days at work.

Also, as long as football remains a team sport, there'll be plenty of blame to go around.  Today was no exception.  Of course, Cam can play better, but he was never going to be able to turn the Panthers season around all by himself.

Do you live under a rock ? The number 2 ranked defense has played like a bottom 5 the last two games, the hope was that the defense would continue to play lights out while cam gave the offense and extra boost to potentially give us a shot at a run, the defense has completely fell apart and the rest of the team as well.

2015 cam is not the end all be all, any version of cam besides 2016 would help this team how it’s currently constructed as long as the defense holds up, they have not, neither has coaching, neither has the o line, neither has our Allstar rb

if you don’t like cam just say it lol would save us both a good bit of time

These morons couldn't wait to come out the woodwork to spout their anti-Cam BS again.

The problem is posters are brained washed into holding cam to 2015 standards in 2021, cam is still a top 15-18 qb imo but he is not the guy who’s going to carry a team to victory week in and week out he needs help from the supporting cast now instead of being a one man wrecking crew or at least having that ability.

can’t have every aspect of a team fall apart and still expect good numbers from cam he’s not a top 8 qb like that anymore

    • keaton is a former Catamount.  The list I saw had only 2--Sanker and Emmanwori.  But I do recall hearing about Bowman. The theory that we are looking for specific hybrid safeties is upheld by this.  Keaton fits the "type" who can play zone or deep and in the box.  "He's a physical player with a high motor and a nose for the football. He has a good understanding of zone coverage and can play in the box as a force defender. Keaton is a leader and has earned a single-digit jersey number at Temple, a tradition reserved for team leaders." At WCU, he averaged 6.5 tackles per game, leading the team before transferring. Sanker has special teams abilities and a high football IQ.  He can cover TEs and RBs and keeps the play in front.  He would be a nice fit as a depth player.  I did not know they met with Bowman at the SR bowl.  He is more of a free safety who struggles in tackling/run support, but that is not to say he is not versatile within his capabilities. Stark is a SS who is a brutal hitter, but I don't see his hybrid qualities--they met with him at the Combine when everyone was in the building, but that was nearly 2 months ago and I don't think there has been contact since. Emmanwori is who they would love to have in my opinion.  NFL Draft Buzz:  "His ability to play in the box, handle man coverage responsibilities, and deliver bone-crushing hits makes him an ideal fit for defenses that ask their safeties to wear multiple hats." So it seems they are looking for a type.  The Keaton pick is intriguing to me because he is a sleeper who would clearly be there in round 5 or later.  They seem attracted to his characteristics, and he is a thumper who can play deep.  To me, the fact that they want 2 hybrid safeties of a certain type is rather obvious.  Maybe I am forcing a round peg into a square hole, but I love trying to see what skillsets teams value to guess draft picks.
    • Because it’s all bullshit and they know it’s bullshit.
    • I'm hoping the Jets draft Warren over an OT, that way he won't be on the board WHEN (not if) we bypass him for a less polished player.  BPA my arse.  I know, I know, he might not be that high on our board, even though roughly 95% of all Big Boards I've seen has him at least a top 8 talent.  VERY seldomly to I see him ranked lower than that.  Granted he's slated to get drafted lower than that value simply because TE is a niche positional need.  Again, Sanders is not a TE1, he's a TE2.  I mean, we tried to make Ian Thomas a TE1 for how long?  Thomas was at best a TE3, but we kept trying.
