yeah, I think you're tripping AK. Williams had a career 5.0 YPC behind Foster and before he ended up starting. He was a 1st round pick. Why would anyone not want him to start?

AK lives in a fantasy world.

in the tinderbox once he started talking about how because of his job he has access to tons of top secret intel every day that would make our blood curl, and eventually he just admitted he threw baggage on a conveyor belt at the airport

Stewart is a good guy, but he STILL isnt cracked up to be what everyone tries to make him.

Some football genius was probably saying the same thing about Deangelo Williams a couple of years ago.

Given the right circumstances, just like Williams, Stewart has the possibility to be great in this league.

He is already good as an RB2. If you were being totally objective, then you could easily say that Stewart jumped on the field running MUCH more effectively than Williams did in his first and second year.

Your backhanded dis of Stewart makes this thread unravel like the threads in the bottom hem of the cheap $5 polyester lion print shirts at your local "Five and Dime".

lol...i remember most people being fed up with fumbling fragile foster.

whatever....

I think we needed to make the 2 back system work. There was concern about Williams' durability so we ddin't want to load him up with 300+ carries and we obviously needed to reduce Fosters carries as a method of reducing the fumbles.

There was zero concern as to DWill's durability. A 4 year starter with 6000 rushing yards in his career.

there were a lot of folks who said he couldnt be a 3 down back in the NFL because of that.

Not to mention his surgery had folks all wacked out.

i find it funny that now everyone is on the "it wasent me- i never said that" bandwagon...
